First, I want to just name some guys currently employed by the WCW that are all McMahon-made stars: Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, Brian Adams, Curt Henning, Rick Rude, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, The Disciple, Steiner Brothers, and more.
Let's start with one of the many guys who left the WWF and are now in the WCW, let's start with "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan. Anybody remember "Hulkamania"? Yeah, it was lame as hell looking back on it, but Hogan was an absouletly huge star in the WWF during the 80s and early 90s. So, after Hogan is past his prime, and is gone from the WWF, what does WCW do? They hire the s.o.b. and that sort of jump started WCW's rise from mediocridy (sp?). But let me point out something; Hulk Hogan would have NEVER been ANYTHING if not for the World Wrestling Federation. Do you really think he'd be making so much damn money if he hadn't been made a star by the WWF? HELL NO HE WOULDN'T! The guy is 90% media creation anyway. I've never seen Hogan execute any moves that impress me, even back in his prime. This guy was made a star by the WWF, and when he passed his prime, the WCW decided to use McMahon's ideas to fuel their own company.
Macho Man Randy Savage...another McMahon-made star. I seriously doubt he'd scream "OHHHH YEAHHH!!" if he hadn't been in the WWF earlier in his career. You see, the problem is that the whole crew over at WCW has no idea how to create a real star, so they basically buy used ones from McMahon.
I might as well get this one over with...Goldberg. What a damn joke. He has a win streak of over 100, but yet many superstars are on there twice, and 90% of the guys he has beaten are jobbers who haven't got a shot in hell of being a champion of any kind anyway. Goldberg is, in my view, the WCW's answer to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Of course Bitchoff isn't going to have Goldberg put him up in the jackhammer and then drink a beer, but the WCW isn't as "adult-oriented" as the WWF anyway. To me Goldberg looks like a cross between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock. At least Goldberg wasn't in the WWF earlier in his career though. These announcers though, calling him "THE MAN", I mean, come on people, the man in the WCW is Ric Flair. Surely you know that. Hey WCW, I have two words for you: GOLDBERG SUCKS!
Bret Hart, he would not be "the Hitman" if he had not worked for McMahon. And you know, even if he was "the Hitman" without McMahon, he would not be a former 5 time WWF Champion, Canadian Hero, blah blah blah, if he hadn't worked for the WWF and had McMahon making him a star. Of course he's not doing too great in WCW right now anyway. I mean, the guy was negotiating with the WCW while he was still WWF Champion, yet he hasn't held the WCW Heavyweight Title, instead it's around Goldberg's waist..yeah, Bitchoff sure does know talent, doesn't he? Gimme a damn break.
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, these two are the two best examples of Bitchoff's un-originality that I can think of. When they were in the WCW prior to joining the WWF, they were both jobbers with really crappy gimmicks. Then, they both go to the WWF, Scott Hall as Razor Ramon and Kevin Nash as Diesel, and both enjoy enormous success. McMahon made them stars for sure. You can't argue that. Diesel was even the WWF Champ for about a year in 1994-95, and a triple crown winner. Razor Ramon was a 4 time IC champion. And then, Bitchoff offers them an assload of money, and they go over to the WCW. Since Bitchoff can't use the copywrited names "Razor Ramon" and "Diesel", he has Scott Hall say "hey, you know who I am". What a damn joke. The whole nWo thing started with Bitchoff trying to make it look like the WWF was trying to overtake the WCW, which was never the case, but Bitchoff wanted it to seem like it so that he could get the ratings he wanted. It's pure and simple the WCW trying to live off of the WWF and McMahon's ideas. Just look at their main even this Sunday, The (Ultimate) Warrior vs. Hollywood Hogan. That's the WWF 7 or 8 years ago at Wrestelmania 6, even the WCW's ads say it's a rematch 8 years in the making, when the original match happened in the WWF. You don't see the WWF putting Austin and Vader in a match together and saying "it's a rematch 6 years in the making" just because the two of them were once in WCW at the same time. The bottom line is that the WCW just plain sucks!
That's it for this round....until next time....Rest In Peace! Or BURN IN HELL! Take your pick!
