Match 1: Owen Hart vs. Lance Storm
If only this match could happen. But what can we do about it? Anyway, Owen picked up the win here. Not real shocking honestly.
Match 2: Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.
Wow, I was surprised here! Rey didn’t get a single vote! Tajiri picks up the win.
Match 3: Nude Mud Wrestling Match - Trish/Lita/Molly vs. Torrie/Stacy/Kim
The WWF girls picked up the win, by just one vote. The runner up? WCW? No, I had a large number of write ins for a draw, either because it turned into a lesbian orgy, or because the real winners are the fans. Anyway, Trish, Molly, and Lita get the win.
Match 4: Submission Match - Chris Benoit vs. Bret Hart
Bret Hart gets the win just barely, by one vote. Just proof that your vote does count!
Match 5: Edge & Christian vs. Harlem Heat
Edge and Christian by a total blowout. Harlem Heat only got one vote.
Match 6: HardCore Rules - Rhyno vs. Sid
Rhyno wins with a GORE GORE GORE!
Match 7: Barbed Wire Match - Cactus Jack vs. Terry Funk
Okay, Terry only got one vote as well. What the hell? I’m thinking maybe some people don’t realize how hardcore Terry Funk can be. Anyway, Cactus picks up the win.
Match 8: Chris Jericho vs. DDP
Jericho got the win by a slim margin. Back and forth voting on this one, DDP had the lead several times.
Match 9: Tables Match - The Dudley Boyz vs. The Steiner Brothers
Wow, the Dudleys’ popularity just isn’t what it used to be. The Steiner Brothers picked up the win by a slim margin. Another surprising outcome I thought.
Match 10: 12-Man Elimination Style Match
Stone Cold/The Rock/Triple H/Kane/Undertaker/Kurt Angle vs. Goldberg/Flair/Hogan/Sting/Hall/Nash
No surprise here, the WWF kills WCW. Most people wrote in their choice of sole survivor. Triple H was actually the most common answer, which came as a surprise to me in the respect that I figured Rock would be the most common choice. Just goes to show that Triple H is going to be hugely popular when he returns.
So that does it, you can tell that there’s a huge WWF bias in the voting, but um, oh well. Thanks again for voting, I’ll be back in Tuesday’s issue with a real column, I promise!
Until next time...
