Sloth Stuffed Animals, Videos, etc.

A fellow sloth lover has sent the following information to us on sloth merchandise she has purchased on the web. Our thanks to Roberta for this information ... Sloth Webmaster

Hello,

I would like to share with my fellow sloth lovers who still want sloth merchandise but haven't yet been able to find any, the URL's to a few on-line stores that sell sloth merchandise that I have miraculously--and I do mean miraculously--discovered on the internet (just like I miraculously discovered this outstandingly super-phenomenal site after what seemed like an eternity of conducting fruitless in-depth searches for anything concerning sloths).

I have found two different styles of three-toed sloth stuffed animals (both of which I have just purchased and am immensely happy with)--the first one is "Incredible Petables," and the second one is "Cooperstown Zoology 101." The "Incredible Petables" style is available at nancysplushtoys.com (click on "Menu" then "Wildlife"--the sloth is on page four) and stuffed-animals.com (scroll down to "Aardvarks and Zebras" and click on "Everything else on earth"--the animals aren't necessarily in alphabetical order, so just continue scrolling until you come to the sloth).

The "Cooperstown Zoology 101" style is available at treasuresanddolls.com (enter the word "sloth" into the Quick Product Search box and click "Search"--but check to make sure there are some left before ordering. They let you know in the description how many they have left) and shopzoo.com (click "View Products," then click "Upside down animals," then click "Sloth"). Both styles are available at toykeeper.com (scroll down to and click on either "Incredible Petables" or "Zoology 101" and scroll down until you find the sloths).

Also, if you want to purchase Slowpoke, the Beanie Baby sloth, but haven't been able to find him in any Hallmark stores, you can purchase him at beaniex.com

I have also just discovered Jack Hanna's website http://www.jackhanna.com and purchased a video of one of his adventures where he talks with a couple who manage a sloth rehabilitation center--click on "Episode Archives" and scroll down to "Costa Rica: Snakes and Sloths," which is the episode you want. In addition to all of this, if anyone gets the cable/satellite channel "Animal Planet," they will be airing a program this weekend called "Survivor" which will feature a sloth--you can view the times at http://www.discovery.com

I have purchased merchandise from nancysplushtoys.com, toykeeper.com, stuffed animals.com, beaniex.com, and jackhanna.com, and have received outstanding service plus excellent quality merchandise. I have not purchased from the other stores that I have listed--I just included them to give you a wider range of stores to choose from.

Thank you to the absolute ultimate uttermost--and beyond--for taking the time and making the effort to create this most outstandingly super-excellent website! It is a lush oasis in the midst of a slothless desert--and is, indeed, sloth heaven for me!

God bless you!

Roberta
