Regrettably not one of the family members were ever apprehended and for more than ten years nothing further was heard. then over the next several years at least two minor, yet apparently related incedents were reported, than again nothing. They Totaly destroyed any fear of Leatherface in this movie I understand Ed Geins fixation with women and his mother, they should have left that out of this movie. Leatherface was never about lookinglike a woman. (I will say this though, Leather is VERY good with a knife in TCM4, you see how good he cut the face off of that womans face he was wearing at the end of the movie? not a slip with the knife or anything.)
