In 1986 the cult movie Highlander came out, the hero was
wielding a Dragon Head Samurai Sword that he inherited from
his mentor, Ramirez. Ever since, collectors have been longing
for this blade. Now, ten years later, a replica has finally
been created.

Connors Dragon Head Katana was just released and is
relativly new. It is supposedly cast from the same
mold that made the sword for the movie Highlander, and
many people say that it is incredibly accurate.
On the other hand, there are many people who say that
this sword is a terrible replica. One thing that
everyone can agree on is that the pin in the handle,
which is seen so prominently in the movie, is missing.
People also say that carvings are different, but they
look very simillar to me. In my opinion, the sword is
a good replica of the original, but I highly doubt it
was cast from the original mold. There is a
discrepency as far as what kind of scabbard comes with
the sword. It is advertised as comming with a black
scabbard, but most people who have ordered it claim
it comes with a red scabbard (which would coincide
with the movie).
