If you don’t already know … Australia is one of the most picturesque places in the entire world. I encourage everyone to go ‘Down Under’ once in their lifetime. It felt so short to see a country as large as the United States in about 2 weeks. That’s why I decided to only focus on the east coast (between Cairns in Queensland to Sydney in New South Wales). I was lucky enough to get time off this year to go to Australia. Patrick and I got denied last year due to the tragic events of 9/11. This year, Dorothy and I had a chance to go, uninterrupted. In the following pages, I will try to capture the great times and memorable events of the couple weeks I had in Australia. (What a great country!) The events were so outstanding that I’ve already started to plan what places I want to go see next time I have vacation time! Follow the links below to read what happened while on holidays: Entry 1 (Sept 16/02) – At Chang Kai Shek Airport (Taipei, Taiwan) Entry 2 (Sept 17/02) – Singapore to Cairns Entry 4 (Sept 19/02) – Port Douglas Entry 5 (Sept 20/02) – Great Barrier Reef Entry 6 (Sept 21/02) – Townsville Entry 7 (Sept 23/02) – Hamilton Island Entry 8 (Sept 25/02) – Rockhampton Entry 9 (Sept 26/02) – Frasier Island Entry 10 (Sept 29/02) – Coffs Harbour Entry 11 (Sept 30/02) – Sydney Entry 12 (Oct 2/02) – Entry 13 (Oct 6/02) – Entry 14 (Oct 7/02) – |
