Two weeks...Friday, April 13.Scary to think it's Friday the 13th! Well, it had to happen but on such a significant day to so many people? It's Good Friday and a good Friday it is indeed-- weather here is in the low 60's (upper 'teens to us Canadians), sunny with an occasional gust but a great day to be outside for sure! Got back home from Toronto last night-- it was one of the worst train rides I've ever been on. If it weren't for my friend, Natalie 'saving' me a seat (indirectly), I think I would have lost it. I was amazed to see that they oversold the seats and people were waiting in the aisles and sitting on the floor. THAT was ridiculous. There is no way I would accept such conditions and PAY for it. The person in charge of our section was extremely rude considering what had happened. The weekend so far has been great. Enjoying my stay in Windsor. Got up late (thank goodness) and sat around. Nice not having to get up so early in the morning for work. Most of my work was completed before I left T.O. Still have to generate a dyslipidemia presentation for nurses this Friday. Shouldn't be too much of a concern but I should get it done before Monday... |
I'm supposed to call up my friend, Renee, tonight. Don't know where we're going but it would be nice to see the Windsor nightlife. I also have to call up Mike to see how he is doing. A call to my ill-stricken high school teacher is in order. Before I forget, I have to contact a potential employer as well-- I would like to clarify what opportunities exist when I return to Windsor. Why did I write 2 weeks? Well... I have 2 more weeks to be in Toronto, that's why. My clinical rotation at the hospital ends at the end of April (I can't believe time goes by that fast!) so it's back to Windsor to find a job and start working for a living! It also means car shopping (for real) in the very near future... heh heh heh... That's about it. My apologies for not keeping this webpage up to speed-- I noticed that this page was not working but that's due to how finicky Internet Explorer (the only working browser on the computer I last edited this page with) is. Next time-- stick to Netscape! |
