Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley's acting career began with her role as a vulcan in the 1982 Gene Roddenberry movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. She went on to replace Shelly Long in the NBC hit comedy Cheers and in 1991 won an Emmy for her work as 'Rebecca Howe'. Another television credit was Masquerade. She played 'Molly' in the Look Who's Talking trilogy, which also starred John Travolta. In 1991 Baby Talk, a television series of the movie premied.

This January 12, 1955 baby was born in Wichita, Kansas, and at one time had a home in Maine with ex-husband Parker Stevenson whom she thanked for "the big one" on the 1991 Emmy Awards. A few years later she won another Emmy for the T.V. mini-series David's Mother. She is now involved with actor James Wilder.

Other movies include Summer School (1987), Madhouse and Sibling Rivalry (1990), Village of the Damned (1995), It Takes Two (1995), For Richer and For Poorer (1996).

Kirstie was awarded star #2056 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in August of '95 and has her own NBC sitcom, Veronica's Closet.
