Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze was born August 18, 1954 in Houston, Texas. He spent his childhood growing up in his mother's dance studio where he trained in ballet and tap. He met his wife Lisa Niemi at the studio and later danced with her on an episode of Saturday Night Live. Who could forget the SNL episode in which he and Chris Farley were Chip N Dale dancers?

Swayze was paired up with Jennifer Grey for Dirty Dancing and Red Dawn. He was in the high grossing 1990 drama Ghost with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldbreg and Next of Kin, a Liam Neeson flick.

Other film credits include The Outsiders (1983), Red Dawn and Grandview, U.S.A. (1984), Tiger Warsaw (1988), Road House (1989), Point Break (1991), City of Joy (1992), Fatherhood (1993), Disney's Tall Tale and To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar, Three Wishes (1995), and Black Dog (1998).
