Sarah's History

          Born on April 14, 1977 in New York, Sarah Michelle Gellar stands 5 foot 3 inches.   Nothing short of being a veteran actress, she has been in front of the camera for fifteen of her twenty years.   Ms. Gellar's career began with an appearance on An Invasion of Privacy and has since become a well-known star. After more irregular projects, she landed her biggest role on All My Children in 1993 at the tender age of fifteen.   Playing the role of 23 year old Kendall Hart, she was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Younger Leading Actress, however, she lost.   In 1995, Ms. Gellar was once again nominated by the The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Daytime Series, this time though, she took the trophy home.   Ironically six months before winning the Emmy, Ms. Gellar had decided to leave All My Children in pursuit of a change of pace.   On the following day after the Academy Awards she publicly announced her intent to leave the show and within two weeks she was off the set of All My Children
          Armed with a new hair color and style, Ms. Gellar hit the TV Screens again in 1997.   Starring in the lead role as Buffy Summers in the WB Network's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she has begun to mesmerize crowds once again.   With Buffy the Vampire Slayer being WB's main weapon in the prime time television battle, maybe Sarah Michelle Gellar will win another emmy.


What's Sarah up to?

          Ms. Gellar is currently the star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.   The second season of BTVS began filming on July 9th and will air the season opener on September 15th.  
          Aside from BTVS, she has filmed two movies this summer: I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream Again.   I Know What You Did Last Summer is due to be released on October 17, 1997 and Scream Again on December 12, 1997.
