Rodnoi Realm, and
the map artwork, has come to symbolize our presence on
the Internet. Though the map has undergone several
'versions' since first appearing, the overall design has
remained the same. The name was taken from the Russian
words Rodnoi Sfera, which loosely means "Kindred
Realm". To avoid confusion with the Kindred
following, we chose the Russian and English blend of the
words: Rodnoi Realm.
Rodnoi is the joint work of myself,
Thaylog, and Lady Payne - each section has meaning to us
in one form or another. Lady Payne's domains include Cavern of Jrock,
House of Hvorostovsky, Payne's Palace and some sections in AnimeIsle.
Those travelling
through our lands for the first time may be a bit
overwhelmed by the vastness and variety - below is a
simple legend that will help you to chose your paths. We
hope you enjoy your visit and will seek these distant
lands again.
