Conceived in present time, Thaylog was actually raised in the Carpathian Mountains by a foster clan in the year 1273. From the moment of his hatching he was looked upon as a bad omen and more then one clan member sought his death - the clan's leader, his father, was all that kept them from succeeding.

Eventually, even this was not enough to keep peace within the clan and his father was forced to exile Thaylog in the late Autumn of 1305. Young and naive, the gargoyle found himself in a world different from what he had known and very unfamiliar with the beings called Humans.

The centuries were lonely ones, spent trying to survive in a harsh world by taking up residence where he could - sometimes within human cities, other times in the forests or mountains. A few dear friendships were made during those long years teaching him that not all humans were evil, cruel beings.

1995 arrived, finding Thaylog in New York - a very wealthy gargoyle with no idea on how to use the fortune he had acquired to his benefit. A chance (or was it really so) meeting with a female gargoyle started a run of good luck and brought him face to face with his true parents (Thailog & Verlyn). Deep within his heart he hated them for abandoning him all those centuries ago, but was able to push it aside to learn from them. It turned out Thaylog had inherited more then just his mother’s immortality - many of her magical abilities had bred true as well and he knew he needed to learn how to use them.

Two years have gone and Thaylog kept up his allegiance with his parents - learning, thinking, plotting - faking loyalty to many while keeping his true intents hidden from all. Finally, tired of their ways, he moved out of the area to pursue his own goals - meeting up with Flynt along the way. Their travels brought them to Pennsylvania where he was able to build up a new coporation and life - forming a Clan of his own.
