The Hyperclan
Not long after the newly formed Justice League
stopped the alien probe that attacked Blue Valley, a new team of superheroes,
the Hyperclan came to Earth from their long-lost planet. They came promising
sweeping changes to make the planet Earth the paradise it was meant to
be. This group, however, was secretly the advance team of a pale Martian
invasion force imprisoned long ago in the Still Zone. The Hyperclan came
to sway Earth's populace in their favor and subvert Earth's standing metahuman
population. Their secret was discovered by the JLA and their invasion stopped.
Afterwards, J'onn J'onzz punished the Hyperclan and
the rest of the Martian's in the Still Zone by telepathically removing
their memories and having them live on Earth believeing they are humans.
Note: The stats for all of the Hyperclan follow the stats for J'onn
J'onzz as a template. The stats for J'onn on this site are a different
interpretation from that published by Mayfair Games. As such, instead of
stats, I'll provide guidelines for making Hyperclan stats for each member
from whatever stats for J'onn J'onzz that you use.

All of the Hyperclan members exhibited a Loss Vulnerability to Fire at
the range of 1 AP affecting Powers and Physical Attributes. Whether this
is a psychosomatic effect of fire (as with J'onn J'onzz)
or a physical limitation was not revealed. It doesn't matter, however,
because the game effect is the same.

None of the pale Martians displayed the Dispersal power. We can presume
that this power, manifested from the willpower of the Green Martians, was
never adopted by the Pale Martians.

All of the Hyperclan also have: Dark Secret (invader), SIF (Fire), MIH
(humans)

In addtion to racial Advantages (eg, Lightning Reflexes) all have Popularity
(global mind control induced) and Expansive HQ (Z'onn Z'orr)

The Hyperclan all commanded a great deal of Resources from their Antarctic
HQ. Perhaps a 12-14 or so.

penalties up to 10 individuals, Limitations: Energy Blast has No Range
and takes 3 APs to activate.]
ORBITAL MIND CONTROL TRANSMITTERS
[Body: 15, Dimension Travel: 6 (Only travel to Still Zone), Hypnotism:
10, Bonus: Hypnotism has orbital range.]
Many of these were used to manipulate Earth's entire
populace.
Protex
The leader of the Hyperclan. Presumably one of the finest pale Martian
warriors around. For his stats, I took J'onn's and added APs to the physical
stats. Protex is closer to Superman's power
level than any other known Martian.

Fluxus
Fluxus masqueraded as the "shape-changer" of the Hyperclan group. He
probably had a couple of more APs of these type powers (Chameleon, Self
Manipulation, etc.) than J'onn J'onzz. Physical attributes probably didn't
vary much either.

A-Mortal
A-Mortal is a frightening physical presence in the Hyperclan. His Dex
was probably close or equal to Protex as was his Superspeed. His Str and
Body were probably higher than J'onn J'onzz but not as high as Protex.
A-Mortal also probably had higher sensory powers than the typical Martian
as exhibited when he tracked down Batman. He also has the Stange Appearance
drawback.

Tronix
Tronix seemed like the groups "blaster." She employed her Heat Vision
as her primary attack. It was powerful enough to significantly harm Wonder
Woman and could probably be about 15 APs or so. Her physical stats were
probably comparable to A-Mortal.

Zum
Zum was quite obviously the speedster of the group. His Dex was probably
higher than or equal to Protex but had a low Str by Martian standards.
His Body was probably average. However, his Superspeed was in the mid 20s
but a few points under Flash's Superspeed of 29.

Zenturion
Zenturion appeared to be the team's weapon's master. Hius physical stats
were average Martian. Zenturion had the Omni-Arm power (or used another
shape-shifting power to perform the same effects such as Self-Manipulation).

Armek
Armek disguised himself as a very large armored/robotic hero in the
Hyperclan. His Dex was lower than average Martian but his Str and Body
were higher. He also was quite adept at changing his physical characteristics
(such as color). This may be higher APs of Chameleon or other shape-shifting
abilities.

Primaid
Primaid had no distinguising powers in the Hyperclan but was one of
the more proficient fighters of the group. Physically, she was only closely
beaten by Wonder Woman. Her stats are probably close to A-Mortal with possibly
a higher Body. She may have a few higher APs of Flight and Invisibility
as well.
