Background:
 

Description:
     Hippolyta's costume is a modification of Diana's.  She wears a large, golden eagle on her chest, and her skirt is star spangled.  She carries a magical sword, and a shield of red, white and blue.

Personality:
     Hippolyta reacts using her Amazon heritage before those of the civilized man or woman.  She is not agaisnt killing or hurting others, having gone so far as to sever the arm of an unarmed man.  She is very brash and sees herself above others, especially men.  She is learning to temper her anger.
