Heya D00ds. I'm Roxy O Lennon from Chicago. That's just my Internet name though. You'll never
know my real name unless I tell you. Which is highly unlikely.
If you wanna see a few pictures of me, click here
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University--Murfreesboro, Tennessee--
in 1995, with a BA in English and am getting ready to take the
GRE so I can get a Masters in Psychology and become a Sports Psychologist. I'd like to work with the Chicago
CUBS, but if ofered a position with the White Sox, I won't turn it down.
If you've never been to Chicago, you should know that you're missing out on one of the most beautiful and
exciting places on Earth. I've done a lot of traveling, and there is no other place I've seen that even comes close to
being the city Chicago is. There are tons of gorgeous skyscrapers --some of which were built many decades ago--
over-looking the beautiful Chicago River; dimly lit dance clubs that stay open till around 2a.m.; several sports teams,
including the CUBS, WhiteSox, and Bulls; hundreds of back alley and fine-dining restaurants; posh shops along Michigan
Avenue; and lots of public transpotation so you can get around the city with no hassle. And to top it all off, the people
here are very friendly and will help you with directions if you get lost. If you're not afraid of heights like I am, you may want
to ride the ferris wheel at Navy Park or take the elevator to the top of the Sear's Tower, the world's largest building. Or you
can do some walking tours if you prefer. Handy tour guides are available at most bookstores around the city. I've been told I'm not a very good singer.
I wanna start my own rock band and call it Lox, and I even have lyrics written that I would sing and music
to go with them, but my german sheppard used to bark at me every time I opened my mouth, and now my friend
Shawn does too. He hates my singing, and whenever I do it in public, he threatens to call me
Luquetia in a very loud voice thinking it'll embarrass me and make me shut up, but actually I love the
attention and keep going. And my roomie makes fun of me for standing in front of the stereo
singing Veruca Salt
songs at the top of my lungs. (My roomie sez: "I recorded her singing one of her own songs that she
sings all the time; you can click on her picture above to hear it as a wav file, and be your own judge.
Oh, and jury and executioner, too! ;)")
At any rate, if yer in this area and wanna start a really
crappy rock band, e-mail me.

I'm a lil bit of a geek and enjoy just dorkin' round on the Web looking for unusual homepages
and adding them to my bookmarks. Sometimes the bookmarks I add are actually relevant--like the ones of
*Fabio*
and
*Mark Grace*,
but others I just kinda came across accidently. But it's just fun to fool around, and so I do. I love to read and listen to
Beat Poetry!
My favorite poem is "America" by Allen Ginsberg, who died on April 5, 1997.
I have all kindsa books on and by the Beats and also this really cool three disc set that my parents got me for
Christmas one year! It's called The Beat Generation, and it's the greatest thing ever to come out on disc!
I especially love hearing Ginsberg read "America," and I also love this cool jazz tune called "Twisted" by
Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross.
