Scene 1: Central Perk- everyone is there except Phoebe and Rachel.
Monica: So, anyone got any plans tonight?
Joey: Nope, making pasta!
Ross: What?
Joey: Yeah, it's became a kinda hobby of mine.
Chandler: Yeah, since Joey can't get a woman he pretends he is one.
Monica: Actually I think that's great. You can't even cook Chandler!
Chandler: Yeah I can!
Ross: Chandler, toast doesn't count!
Monica: Hey Joey, maybe we would trade recipes.
Joey: (excited) Sure! (everyone one looks at him. He clears his throat) I mean if you want to.

Scene 2- Rachel's Work- Rachel comes in.
Rachel: Morning Sophie!
Sophie: Hi Rachel! Good weekend?
Rachel: Not really. Pretty boring.

Scene 3-Ross' Work - Ross is coming in.
Carl: Hey Ross, how's it going?
Ross: (smiles) Crappy! You?
Carl: Good. I thought you had a girlfriend.
Ross: Yeah, that was like 8 months ago. We broke up.
Carl: That sucks!
Ross: Ya think?
Carl: I'll be right back.(goes to the phone and Rings at Bloomingdales)
Sophie: Hello?
Carl: Hi sis.
Sophie: Oh, hey Carl.
Carl: Listen, you've got a co-worker that's single right?
Sophie: Yeah.
Carl: Well, so is mine.
Sophie: (thinks about it) You wanna set them up?
Carl: Yeah for sure.
Sophie: Is he good looking?
Carl: I guess.
Sophie: Ok great! Let's tell them Friday night at Giovannis.
Carl: Perfect.

Scene 4: Monica and Rachel's - Joey and Monica are in the kitchen
Joey: (filling a bowl) Monica, feel my tomatoes.
Monica: What?!
Joey: Tell me if they are firm enough or not.
Monica: No thank you!
Joey: Monica, if you want to make it good, you're going to have to make sure that my tomatoes are firm enough (hands her the bowl) Here.
Monica: Oh!(feels the tomatoes) They are firm enough.
Joey: Soft ones are never good, if ya know what I mean.
Monica: Ha ha! Let's get cooking!
(Rachel comes in)
Rachel: Hi guys.
Monica: Hi Rach!
Joey: Hey.
Rachel: (sniffing) Wow, smells good!
Joey: Yeah, Monica and I have been cooking (winks)
Rachel: I bet you were. Hey guess what? I'm going out on a blind date.
Monica: Really? When?
Rachel: On Friday. I've got to go shopping. (drops her briefcase) Bye!
Monica/Joey: Bye.
Joey: That's great for Rachel.
Monica: Yeah, but I always wanted her to end up with my brother. They were so much, I wish that they could both work past it.
Joey: Monica, it's been a long time since they broke up. It seems that they have both moved on. Too bad though. Here wash them (hands Monica the bowl)
Monica: Why do I have to wash them?
Joey: Because I have to go do number one.
Monica: Number one?
Joey: I have to go pee! (runs to the bathroom, Ross enters)
Monica: Hey
Ross: Hi Mon. What are you cooking?
Monica: Joey and I are making it!
Ross: Really? (smiles) I never knew!
Monica: Pasta stupid!
(Joey comes back)
Joey: Hey.
Ross: Hi. Is Rachel here?
Monica: No, she went shopping.
Ross: Oh ok then. Well I have a date on Friday night. I know it's stupid, but it's a blind date.
Monica: On Friday?
Ross: Yep
(Monica and Joey smile at each other)

Scene 5-Monica and Rachel's-Rachel is getting ready for her date. Just her and Monica are there.
Monica: (calling from the kitchen) Rach? Do you know what this guy looks like?
Rachel: Well, from what Sophie tells me, he's pretty tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She also says that he's a real brain.
Monica: Wow sounds good. You don't think that it could be someone you know?
Rachel: I doubt it.
Monica: What will he be wearing?
Rachel: A black suit and a royal blue tie. (comes out of her room) How do I look?
Monica: Like a knockout.

Scene 6-Joey and Chandler's- The Guys are There.
Chandler: What do you know about this woman?
Ross: Not too much. But I heard she's real pretty and sweet and that she has blue eyes, and brown hair. I guess her last boyfriend hurt her pretty bad.
Joey: (laughs then stops) Where are you meeting her?
Ross: Gionvanni's.
Chandler: Well, good luck.

Scene 7- Giovanni's
(Rachel enters)
Rachel: Hi. I'm here for a reservation of 2 at seven. But I was supposed to come her because this is a sorta blind date thing.
Matrie 'D: Ah yes. Miss Green?
Rachel: That's me.
Matire 'D: Follow me. (goes to sit Rachel down)
(Ross enters)
Ross: Hello. I'm here on a blind date. So...
Matire 'D: Mr. Geller?
Ross: That's correct.
Matire 'D: Follow me.
(Rachel goes to the bathroom before seeing Ross)
Ross: (sitting down) Thanks.
(Rachel come back, and Ross stands up)
Rachel: Ross? What are you doing here?
Ross: I'm here on a blind date. What are you doing here?
Rachel: I'm on a blind date too. You don't think that-
Ross: Nah. I bet I was supposed to sit over there.
Rachel: Yeah ok.
(Ross moves to another table. The hours pass away)
Matire 'D: Look, we're closing really soon and it's too late for you both to order.
Ross: Oh, ok.
Rachel: Sorry.
(They leave and stand outside the resturant)
Rachel: So...
Ross: Listen, what did the guy that you were supposed to meet look like?
Rachel: He has brown hair, brown eyes (Ross smiles), tall and sorta good looking (Ross frowns), from what Sophie tells me.
Ross: What else?
Rachel: He should be wearing a black suit, and a royal blue tie. (Ross looks down at himself)
Ross:(laughs) Well, you got me! (silence) Listen, do you want to go for a walk?
Rachel: Ross, I-
Ross: Just a walk please. Come on, we are still friends. It's been a long time since we broke up. Please.
Rachel: Alright.
(they begin to walk)
Ross: How's work going?
Rachel: It's great! You have no idea how much I love it.
Ross: I have some idea.
Rachel: You know, I'm actually happy to go to work each morning.
Ross: Yeah, if you love your work, it really takes your mind off of things that are buggin you. I've been pretty busy lately. I'm doing a lot of presentations. It's really good money (smiles)
Rachel: It's nice to have a good job. It's one of the most important things to have in your life (silence) How's Ben?
Ross: Great! He's growing so quickly. It feels just like yesterday was when he said his first word.
Rachel: (laughs) I remember that. He's a great kid.
Ross: You starting to like kids more?
Rachel: Sure. I mean, I really do want to have kids some day.
Ross: Really? I could see you as a mother (Rachel smiles, Ross laughs)
Rachel: What's so funny?
Ross: Nothing. I just hope you don't lose your kids like you lost my monkey.
Rachel:(laughs) I doubt it. Hopefully, I'll have a loving husband who will help me out.
(They sit on a bench)
Ross: Wait here. (he gets up)
Rachel: Where are you going?
Ross: I'll be right back. (leaves, Rachel looks around. Ross comes back) Here! (hands her a hotdog) We never did eat.
Rachel: Thanks!
Ross: And...(hands her a carnations) I remember how much you used to loves these. More than roses.
Rachel: Thank you.
Ross: (sits down) Tell you what. Why don't we have a horror movie marathong. We can watch (finshing off his hotdog) and see who's more chicken. You always said you were brave.
Rachel: (thinks about it) Is that a challenge?
Ross: You could say that.
Rachel: You're on.

Scene 8- Monica and Rachel's-Everyone is there, minus Ross and Rachel. They are all eating pasta.
Chandler: Wow. This stuff is so good.
Monica: Thanks. I had a lot of fun with Joey's tomatoes. (Joey smiles) (Rain starts to pour)
Phoebe: Yikes! I hope Ross and Rachel are ok.

Scene 9- Ross' Apartment-Ross and Rachel enter soaked.
Rachel: Lucky we made it. I'm totally wet!
Ross: Me too. Hey, I'll give you something to wear (goes into his room) A shirt good?
Rachel: A big shirt.
Ross: (laughs) Ok. I'll get one from my "before" stage. (comes out, hands her a towel and a shirt) Here you go.
Rachel: Thanks. Could I go change?
Ross: Be my guest. I'll make some popcorn. No butter right?
Rachel: Right it's too fattening!
(TIME LAPSE)
Rachel: (sits on the couch) Ok, what's first?
Ross: (hands her the popcorn) What about Friday the 13th?
Rachel: Sounds good to me.
(TIME LAPSE)
(Ross screams and hides under a pillow. Rachel covers her face with her hands. In the background, you can hear screaming and yelling coming from the TV. A large blot of lightening is seen through the window outside and loud thunder is heard. Then the power goes out)
Rachel: Ross?
Ross: I'm here. Give me your hand. (you can hear some movement) Ow! My eye!
Rachel: Sorry.
Ross: Ok, come over here. (more thunder)
Rachel: I'm seriously scared.(rattling sound from outside)What was that?!!
Ross: I have no clue, but I am going to go and get a flashlight.
Rachel: Be (thunder) careful! (loud crash) Ross?!!
Ross: (groans) That damn coffee table.
Rachel: I'll find out(you can hear Rachel moving around. Thunder is seen again. She screams and then falls)Ouch!(the lighs come back on and we can see that she landed fully on top of Ross)I'm sorry!!
Ross: That's ok. Just my rib(pokes his ribs)
Rachel: I'm so sorry! (she moves and sits on the floor next to Ross on his right side. She lifts up his t-shirt to inspect his ribs.) Oh Ross.
Ross: (sitting up) It's ok. I'm fine. (he tries to move) Oww. Dammit.
Rachel: I'm sorry (she moves close to him and puts her hands on his ribs)
Ross: Rach. I'll be fine. (he reaches out and puts his hands on her face and lightly kisses her on lips)
Rachel: (pulls away) Ross, we can't do this.
Ross: I know (slience) Look me straight in the eyes and tell me that you don't love me. (they look at each other) Or, that you don't want me to make love to you tonight. (long slience)
Rachel: (looks away, and looks at Ross again then forcefull kisses him on the lips) There's your answer.
Ross: God, I've missed you! ( he kisses her neck)
(Ross and Rachel end up doing stuff. Use your imagination because there's no way I can write it)

Scene 10 -Ross' Bedroom - Morning- Ross and Rachel are in bed, both sleeping.
(phone rings, Ross wakes up and reaches for the phone)
Ross: (sleepy) Hello?
(other side of the phone)
Monica: Ross! Are you ok?
Ross: Why wouldn't I be okay? I'm better than ok.
Monica: Where's Rachel?
Ross: (looks over at Rachel sleeping and brushes her hair away from her face) Rachel's here. Safe with me.
Monica: Ok(releaved then curiously)want to tell me what happened?
Ross: Not really Mon. Bye. (hangs up, goes back to bed and puts his arm around Rachel)
