Opening Scene...(Chandler's, Joey & Chandler are eating breakfast.) (Monica walks in, still in her night clothes.)
Monica: Sorry, I didn't have time to get dressed.
Chandler: Woahh! Look at you. Am I awake? Cuz I've had dreams like this.
Joey: If she keeps wearing them, you awake, besides..would I be there?
Monica: I`ve just heard from Rachel, she needs picking up from work, she had a fashion emergency last night and worked right through. They don't need her now, so she wants to come home. Phoebe has a client, and I'm not asking Ross, I kinda need you.
Chandler: I can't drive! What do you expect me to do? (turns to Joey) Are you sure I'm awake?
Joey: try to take off her shirt, then you'll know! (Grins.)(Monica frowns.)

Scene 1...Monicas', (Ross is sat watching TV, when Monica walks in.)

Monica: Okay, remind me never to go in there like this again!
(Goes to change in her room.)
Ross: Come on, give him a break, I think Chandler's in love.
. Monica: Yeah? Well, I guess..
(Joey & Chandler walk in)
Ross: Hey guys! You were saying Mon,
Monica: Oh, never mind. It`s not as fun talking about Chandler`s love life, when he can hear you.
Chandler: Okay, I`ll call a cab, can someone explain to me again why Rach can't just call a cab herself?
Monica: She's too scared too, she's been hearing about some very strange drivers lately.
Joey: Right, but why won't *you* go collect her then?
Monica: So what's not right for Rachel, is okay for me huh? Am I not as good as her now, is that it? (looks at Chandler.)
Chandler: Hey! Don't look at me, I'm calling a cab!
Ross: Keep it down guys, there's a show on I wanna see, about the biggest bone found in the....
Chandler: (Makes snoring noises.)
Monica: Okay! you (pointing to Chandler) call that cab! You (pointing to Joey) urrr, you help him!
Joey: Yep, that sounds like a two man job.
(They go off to call.)
Joey: right, ring good man ring.
Chandler: Er, Hi yes, can I have a cab to Bloomingdales. But hey listen, I wanna have the same cab back again okay. I`m sending someone to pick up someone, see what I mean?.....right great! (hangs up) Cab is on the way!
Joey: Okay, do you guys still need me? Cuz I have a date, but I`m wasteing my time with you!
Monica: You do? Who!
Joey: She`s a professional, and she`s is so into me, you know?
Chandler: A professional, out of work actress? Cuz she`s dating you joey!
Joey: (Fake laugh) A professional teacher.
Monica: Oh! Don`t forget to take her an apple. Oh and Chandler? Your with me!
Chandler: I am?
Monica: Yesss, I don't want to go alone either.
Chandler: Okay, let me get this straight....you are picking Rachel up with me?
Monica: er, yeah.
Ross: Shhhh! wow, look at that bone guys! I gotta have that bone! What do you think Joey?

Scene 2 (Monica & Chandler are in cab, on way to Bloomingdales.)

Chandler: Mon?
Monica: Yes?
Chandler: Know what I think?
Monica: That Yasmine should run more?
Chandler: ooooh yeah (gazes out of the window and smiles.)
Monica: Hey! (pokes him.)
Chandler: Ow!
(Car pulls up to Bloomingdales, Chandler follows Monica into the building.)
Monica: Um, excuse me. We are here to pick up our friend...Rachel Green.
Male worker: Rachel? You mean Rachel the love bug Geller?
Monica: Oh! People know about that?
Worker: Oh yeah, she`s famous around here. Who was that guy who sent her all those goofy things to stop Mark from getting to her, when he already had a girlfriend?
(Monica looks at Chandler)
Chandler:Er, that'll be this good woman`s brother!
Worker: Whoops, sorry, I guess you can`t chose your family huh? (smiles, then sees Monica is not smiling and so stops) Anyway..Rachel is on the fourth floor.
Chandler: Okay, alrighty then, bye bye! (waves at him)
(Chandler and monica go to elavotor, push the button and wait. Walk in when it gets there and push button for the fourth floor, the lift is empty.)
Chandler: (voice over of chandler thoughts) wow look at her, she`s so lovely. Oh my God! stop it! Stop thinking about her!
Monica: Chandler? Are you okay?
Chandler: No, I`m fine, (voice in head) your so beautyful, marry me? (he speaks..) Mon, nice weather lately huh? (in head says..) oh yes! That was winning, she`ll want me bad now!
(Hears sudden bang, the lift stops.)
Monica: God, what was that?
Chandler: Um, we are stuck (in head) yessssss I`m stuck in a lift with her. Okay this is perfect, when I see Joey and everyone again, we`ll be married!...or at least...hmmm hehehehe (gives monica a smile.)
Monica: (sees smile and frowns) HELP!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!! LET ME OUT!!!!!
Chandler: Err, yeah DITTO! (in head) yer right, never let us out....well except when I need a pee.

Scene 3 (Monica`s place, Ross, Joey and Phoebe are there..)

Phoebe: What a day! The ungreatful cow couldn`t see that I was helping her by saying she need anti-wrinkle cream. It was only friendly advice. Geezs!
Joey: My day wasn`t much better, my date walked off with another guy.
Phoebe: Oh, didn`t you do your homework!
Joey: The others have been a long time picking Rach up. You don`t think.......hehehe do you?
Ross: What? NO! not my sister, not Monica.
Phoebe: Come on Ross, Monica has to give in to her feelings for Chandler some time.
Ross: She won`t admit it guys, maybe she doesn`t.
Phoebe: Oh, she does.
Joey: How do you know she does?
Phoebe: Well, I came in here early this morning. And I heared her, singing......she was singing...and I could tell!
Ross: Are they gonna be lobsters? Like me and Rachel......were (looks sad.)
Phoebe: Well, maybe. I don`t know, they are kinda like dolphins right now. Lobsters maybe.
Joey: Arrrrwwwwwwwwwwww, that`s sweet.
(Ross has a puzzled look, an `and you understood that look.)

Scene 4 (In the elavator.)

Monica: Where are they? we`ve (looks at him) well...I`ve been shouting for ages now.
Chandler: Have you tried pressing the emergency button? That red one!

Chandler: (too busy watching her) oh see, cuz that`s what it`ll be. Press it. (Monica pokes him)
Chandler: What? That`s the second time today, And I can`t hit you. Your a girl, I don`t poke girls. OKay I`ve had it with this! Look we are both stuck, in this lift on our own...
Monica: Yes?
Chandler: no,one`s around...
Monica: Yesss?
Chandler: We are probably going to be here for a while...we are both adults, stuck in a lift, for a *while*...
Monica: Not *that* Long!
Chandler: This doesn`t have to take long...
Monica: HELP!!!!! I *REALLY* need HELP!!!
Chandler: Okay fine, me too HELPPPPPPPPPPPP, I`ve just been rejected down here! Get me out of here! HEELLLLPPPP!

Scene 5 (Bloomingdale workers are gathering around the lift shaft, listening to Chandler and Monica.)
Female worker: Hey Steve! Come listen to this.
Monica: Oi! Chandler let go of my hand!
Cahndler: I don't want to.
Monica: NOW!
Chandler: Give in to me, stop denying it.
Male worker: Don`t give in mate, she`s lying!
Female worker: What do you know! She`s not. Why can`t guys take no as a answer?
Chandler: okay, okay, I just maybe we...
Monica: look, I don`t wanna ruin our friendship.
Chandler: Woah, that`s all, that`s why you won`t see me? That all? Not that I`m just undateable? Not serious enough? Won`t commit? yessss!
Monica: We have been friends for such a long time, I don`t wan`t to ruin that. What about the other guys? What about Ross and Rachel?
Chandler: They can find their own dates!
Monica: No, I`m serious Chandler.
Chandler: okay, listen. I know you lik eme too, I`ve known it for so long now, that I`m in love with you. I`ved loved you for years, and no,one else will ever do for me. (Rachel notices the people listening and walks over to them.)
Rachel: Um, the handbag company are on the phone asking why they haven`t heared back from you Sally. Sally? Why is everyone standing around here, Sally. Oh and by the way...has anyone seen my lift? They were meant to pick me up!
Monica: I can`t belive this...I....I come here!
Female worker: They are kissing!
Male worker: Yer right!
Chandler: Wooooooooow Kiss me again! Woahhh!
Rachel: er...is that....is that chandler?
Female worker: Yeah, do you know him? He`s so romantic. Pushy, but sooo sweet.
Rachel: romantic? Who to....
Monica: Okay sweety
Rachel: MONICA!!!!!!!!! Oh my god!!!! MONICA...........CHANDLER!!!!!! Can you guys hear me?
Chandler: oooh, ohhh Rachel? Sorry about your lift!
Rachel: To hell with my lift! This is great!

Closing Scene 6 (Bloomingdales, the lift opens. They walk out holding hands. All the staff cheer them, and shout at them.)

Rachel: I¬m so happy for you guys! Wait till I tell the others (Hugs them.)
(The cab driver walks in.)
Driver: OKay, someone, owes me alot of money. The meter has been running all this time.........AND I expect to be taking a girl home again, with a guy and girl with her! Someome better have a biggg wallet around here.
