Later

Before what was left of Dr Billy Kronk was to be removed from the premises, the doctors were treated to a visit by some FBI Agents. But these were no ordinary agents.

(FlashBack) Agent Dana Scully answered her cell phone as she was just getting into the so called office she shared with Fox Mulder, her parter.
"Scully." She answered. The agents were in back in the Washington DC FBI HQ for the first time in months.
"Hello." The voice said. "I am talking to the X-Files division?"
"Yes you are." Scully said making a "Get-your-tail-over-here-now" gesture to Mulder.
"Thats good. I spent the last half hour being rerouted through everything the operator could think of. I am Dr Phillip Watters. I am the Chief of Staff at Chicago Hope. We had a well... rather strange incident happen here this morning."
"We specialize in strange." Scully said as Mulder picked up the other end.
"How may we help you?" Mulder asked.
"Well we had a strange attack in the mens bathroom. the victim was well...no other way to say it...he was literally bitten in half." Phillip said.
"Hmm." Mulder said making a small noise. Scully looked his way. "What?" He muttered.
"Could you please excuse me for a moment." Scully said before placing Phillip on hold. "What was that?" She asked.
"What?"
She copied the sound. "That. What was that? Do you have something to say? An outrageous theory to behold to us all?" Scully said laying the sarcasm on thick.
"I was clearing my throat." Mulder said rubbing his neck. "Seriously I think we have a visit from an old friend, actually not the exact old friend, but maybe an offspring. You know what the lakes around Chicago are like."
"Are you saying waht I think you are saying?"
"Yep," Mulder said. "But I don't want to say until we hve been to any type of autopsy." Mulder said as Scully picked up the line "Bring your tweezers."
"Dr Watters." Scully said punching the hold button. "We'll be there as soon as possible."

Scully and Mulder had arrived at the famed hospital while Scully was recollecting the events of that morning.
As they got off the elevator, an attractive doctor met them half way.
"Hi. Dr Daniel Nyland. I assume you are the FBI agents?" He said as he shook Mulder and Scullys hand.
"Yes we are." Scully said.
"Great." Nyland said. "Dr Kronk...the victim was a somewhat good of mine here. It's not every day you go to the can and you cant come out." He got a blank stare from the agents. "That was supposed to be a joke, and it was funnier in my head."
"Where is the body?" Mulder asked as they followed the doctor.
"They are getting ready to take it down the the morgue but they want you to get a look at it first before any work is done on it. What work? I ask you, theres nothing to work with." Nyland said opening the door for Scully and allowed it to slam in Mulders face. "It's in the mens room but we've closed it off and0 no men have gone in to do any business. A lot of complaining has gone on but Dr Geiger got in their face. Theirs been no complaining since then. I got the feeling they are relieving themselves on his favorite fern. Like he has many fans in the first place." Nyland rattled on for a minute as they entered the mens room. Scully and Mulder went intot he stall Kronk had gone. He still had a weird look on his face. Scully looked at the body then at Mulder.
"What do you see?" Scully asked Mulder who looked like he was taking every bit of this into consideration.
"It's what I think it is." Mulder said. "Son of Flukeman."
"You gotta be kidding." Scully said. Mulder maintained his serious look. "I guess not."

To be continued.
