*This episode takes place after the season premiere of the fourth season. Ross and Rachel are stil angry at each other but they still have feelings for each other*

Central Perk
Chandler: Hey, Joey are we going to the Rangers game tonight?
Joey: Oh yeah, for sure. You coming Ross?
Ross: Is it just us three? No girls?
Chandler: What he is trying to say is 'No Rachel?'
Monica:(sarcastically) Thanks for the thought of inviting us though.
Chandler: Don't worry Ross, it's just us guys.
Joey: Oh, so you mean me and Ross? (Chandler gives a ha-ha face) Just kidding.

Outside Central Perk *note* This guy is really good looking and is played by David Charvet from Melrose Place :)

Guy: Geez lady watch where- (looks at Rachel and smiles) Oh, sorry.
Rachel: (embraassed) I'm sorry about that. (bends down and trys to pick up her papers)
Guy: No no, I wasn't looking where I was going (starts helping Rachel pick up her papers. Then looks at the cover of a folder that says Bloomingdales) You work for Bloomingdales? (hands her the papers that he picked up)
Rachel:Thanks (takes the papers) Yeah, I have for...well soon it's going to be a year now.
Guy: Believe it or not, I work for Saks.
Rachel: Really? I had a job intereview there once, but got turned down.
Guy: You got turned down? (trying to charm her) They always need more models!
Rachel:(laughs) I'm pretty happy where I am. (looks at her watch) Excuse me, I better get going, I can't be late for this meeting or I might have to find a new job!.
Guy: Sure, sorry again.
Rachel: Bye (walks away)
(The Guy bends down and notices that Rachel dropped a business card)
Guy: Rachel Green. My Rachel, you were very beautiful. (he puts the card in his pocket and walks away, but turns around and takes one more glance at Rachel who is struggling with her papers)

Monica and Rachel's (Phoebe and Monica are there)
Phoebe: When's Rachel coming home? We should go out.
Monica: She should be home soon. She's actually not working that much anymore.
Phoebe: She's not having problems at work is she?
Monica: Rachel and Clothes?
Phoebe: Ok, I'll do the Math.
(Rachel enters)
Rachel: Hey guys!
Monica: Hi Rach.
Phoebe: Rach? You wanna go out? Like to the movies?
Rachel: Oh sure. That sounds great. I'm just going to get changed. (enters her bedroom as the telephone rings)
Monica: Hello?
(other side of the phone. It's the guy that Rachel ran into today)
Guy: Hi, could I speak to Rachel please?
Monica: Sure just a sec. Could I know who's speaking?
Guy: Tell her it's Matthew.
Monica: Ok, hold on. (puts down the phone and yells) Rach! Phone!
Rachel: (from her room) Who is it?
Monica: Matthew!
Rachel: I don't know any Matthews!
Monica: (on the phone) Matthew who?
Matthew *aka GUY*: Just tell her it's the guy she bumped into on the street today.
Monica: Ok. (Rachel comes out of her room)It's the guy that bumped into you on the street today.
Rachel: How does he know my name and my number? (takes the phone from Monica) Hello?
Matthew: Hi, this may seem a little weird. You dropped one of your business cards and I wanted to give you a call.
Rachel: Oh, well Hi.
Matthew: Listen, this may seem a out of the blue, but do you want to get a cup of coffee or something?
Rachel: Tonight? (looks at Monica and Phoebe) Hold on a sec. (puts down the phone) Hey guys, is it ok if I skip tonight? Matthew wants to take me out.
Monica: Come on Rachel don't bail on us-
Phoebe: (Interuppting) No Rach it's fine! (Monica looks at her with a "what?" look)
Rachel: (on the phone) Matthew? Sure it sounds great. Do you know Central Perk?

Sidewalk (the guys are headed for Central Perk after the hockey)
Joey: That damn Richter! How could he let that goal in?
Chandler: Got me.
Ross: You know what gets me about the Rangers is (stops dead sentence and points into the coffee shop) Who's that guy with Rachel?
Chandler: Oh my god!!!
Ross: WHAT!?!?
Chandler: You said her name!
Ross: (shakes his head) Who is he? What is he doing with her?!
(inside you can see that Rachel and Matthew are having a good time, they are sitting together at a table laughing)
Joey: Looks like they are on a date.
Ross: A date?
(Rachel playfully hits Matthew's arm)
Joey: (smiles) And someone might get lucky tonight!

Hallway bewtween the apartments (Matthew and Rachel)
Matthew: So you live here?
Rachel: Yep, with my roomy Monica. (finds her keys and unlocks the door) Come on in. (they both step inside to find everyone there)
Rachel: Hi guys.
Joey/Chandler/Phoebe/Monica: Hey.
Rachel: This is my friend Matthew.
All: (expect Ross who is eyeing him very carefully) Hi.
Matthew: Hi, nice to meet you.
Rachel: (taking Matthew and walking over to them) This is Monica.
Matthew: Wow, two beautiful women living together.
Monica: (flattered and giggles) Thanks. Don't worry, we're not gay.
Rachel: This is Chandler.
Chandler: Hey man. (shakes his hand)
Matthew: Hi there.
Rachel: This is Joey.
Joey: What's up?
Matthew: Hey, I know you from somewhere. (thinks) Were you on TV?
Joey: (proudly) Yep, Days of Our Lives.
Matthew: Yeah! That's it! (Rachel smiles at Matthew and we can see Ross looking uncomfortable, thinking things about Matthew to himself)
Rachel: This is Phoebe.
Matthew: Phoebe. Hi!
Phoebe: Hello.
Rachel: (leaving Ross for last of obvious reasons) And this is (clears her throat and not looking at him) Ross.
Matthew: Ross. Well I've heard a lot about you.
Ross: Really? Well I've heard nothing about you!

Cut to later that evening (everyone is inside expect for Matthew and Rachel who are out on the balcony talking. Ross is pretending not to watch them)
Chandler: Ross, would you stop watching them!
Ross: What?
(Rachel comes in)
Rachel: Just coming to get some more wine.
(In the kitchen with the girls they are talking quietly)
Phoebe: Rach, he's so cute.
Rachel: God, I know, he's so sweet.
Monica: You ready to start dating again?
Rachel: (loudly) I really like him.
(Ross looks dejected)

Chandler and Joey's (the guys are there)
Ross: She actually likes that...that...FOOL!
Chandler: Look Ross, it's over between you two. I mean how many more times are we going to go through this. You broke up for a good reason the first time.
Ross: WE WERE ON A (Chandler covers Ross' mouth with his hand)
Chandler: Look! Stop saying that. It's over, and so is the second time. Just forget about her! Ok?
Ross: No! I can't.
Joey: Look Ross, I know that it's hard for you, but you both have to get on with your lives!
Ross: Forget it, you guys are no help!(leaves)

Girl's Apartment (Phoebe and Monica are looking through a paper)
Phoebe: What about this movie?
Monica: (looks) Pheebs it's rated r for sexual content.
Phoebe: Yeah, but I'm thinking that there might be male nudity.
Monica: (thinking about it) There could be. (smiles and frowns) We are pathetic!
Phoebe: (sighs) I know, but it's better than nothing.
(Rachel enters)
Rach: Hi (hangs up her coat)
Monica/Phoebe: Hey.
Monica: How was work?
Rachel: Great.
Phoebe: Matthew you sent you those flowers over there. (points to the counter)
Rachel: He did? (smiles)
Monica: Rachel, can I ask you something?
Rachel: Sure (reading the note Matthew left and the puts it down)
Monica: Do you really like this guy?
Rachel: Yeah.
Monica: You sure?
Rachel: Yes I'm sure. (thinks) Wait what are you trying to say? That I'm just dating him to make Ross jealous? (Monica looks away)
Monica: Look Rachel, if you still love Ross-
Rachel: Monica wait. Look, what I had with your brother was great. It WAS. That's in the past.
Phoebe: Duh.
Monica: Don't tell me that you don't feeling anything for him anymore!
Rachel: Why are you doing this to me Monica? I'm finally happy with a guy and you are trying to ruin it!
Monica: No I'm not!
Rachel: Nothing is going to happen between Ross and me again! Ok.
Period! Never! I don't love him like I used to. Things have changed.
Monica: I don't believe you. You two were so great together.
Rachel: Yeah, but it didn't work out. Look, I just don't feel what I used to for Ross. I'm not trying to make him jealous. (sigh)
Phoebe: Are you really happy Rach?
Rachel: Yes I am. In fact, I think I'm falling in love again.
