10 to Midnight was an uncharacteristically non-violent Bronson movie. Bronson plays Leo Kessler, a detective for the L.A. police. A young man named *** **** is portrayed as a perverted young man who kills young women always while he is naked. At the beginning of the movie, *** is entering a movie theater, and overtly hits on a young lady attending the picture with a female friend of hers. After switching seats away from the women to the back of the theater, he goes to the bathroom, and sneaks out. While the film is running, he goes into the woods, strips down, and then kills a young man and women having sex. He then puts his clothes back on and reenters the theater just in time to sit down to the final minute of the movie, and hit on the girls on the way out.

Bronson investigates the crime, and thinks it's someone who knew the woman. Since, the murdered young woman's roommate knew she had kept a diary of every man she had any relationship with, Bronson checks them all out.
