UNSTOPPABLE... The Backstreet Boys continue to reign this chart for a fourth consecutive week with "I Want It That Way", which now becomes the first all-male single to reign for this many weeks (see archive). Women have easily dominated this chart for the last two years, but for now, Britney and Jennifer will have to deal with the fact that the Backstreet Boys want it their way.
BEAUTIFUL GIRL... Doesn't Madonna look gorgeous on her new video? Anyway, "Beautiful Stranger" continues its chart movement by climbing up another four notches to land her third top 5 hit. I have to say that the Calderone mixes are fantastic, so this should be yet another no. 1 club play hit for her.
PRETTY PICTURE... TLC's "Unpretty" is this week's greatest gainer in over-all chart points. The track moves up to no. 13 and if the girls manage to make the top 10 next week with "No Scrubs" holding inside as well, it'll be the first time an act will have two hits in the top 10 since Janet accomplished this feat in 1997 with "Got 'Til It's Gone" and "Together Again".
