Janet is back on top... After holding the top spot for 3 weeks, Destiny's Child step down to make way for Janet Jackson's "Someone To Call My Lover". This is her 7th chart topper since 1997, which makes her the absolute record holder for the artist with the most #1 singles in the history of this chart. Previously, there was a two-way tie with *N Sync at six a piece. Since the chart's creation in January of 1997, Janet has topped the chart with the following singles:

Keepin' it real... This week's greatest gainer is Jennifer Lopez' "I'm Real", which makes into the top 5 in its 6th week on the chart. The third single from "J.Lo" has given the album new life as it soars back into the top 20 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart. The new momentum gained is due thanks to Epic Records' decision to add the popular remix featuring Ja Rule as a bonus track.
Hello, hello!... Making their first appearance ever on the chart this week are Gorillaz with their debut single "Clint Eastwood" at #36. The track is followed one rung lower by Dido's "Hunter", the third release from her "No Angel" debut album.
