Better late than never... "Drops Of Jupiter" reaches #1 this week displacing J.Lo's "I'm Real" to #4. It took Train's debut single 17 weeks to climb to #1, the longest it's taken any single to achieve so since this chart was created. Train's move to #1 means Alicia Keys has to settle for yet another week at #2 with "Fallin'". Michael's "You Rock My World" regains a bit of momentum by jumping to #3 in its fifth week on the chart.
Only time will tell... Enya isn't an artist that usually charts here, but "Only Time" is just a beautiful song. The track is this week's greatest gainer as it jumps all the way from #37 to #25. Who knows? Only time will tell if she can score her first top 10 hit. Enrique Iglesias' "Hero" also shows strong gains and is this week's second greatest gainer. The track, from his forthcoming album "Escape", should be a contender for the top spot in the weeks to come.
New entries... This week's highest new entry belongs to Usher. "U Got It Bad" is the follow-up to his #1 hit "U Remind Me" and debuts this week at #34. The Backstreet Boys, whose "The Hits - Chapter I" is out at the end of October, are right behind with "Drowning" at #35. Britney Spears is also back with "I'm A Slave 4 U", the first single from her third album "Britney", at #36; and so are Garbage, whose "Androgyny" lands at #39.
