And the winner is...Enrique Iglesias, who scores his second #1 hit with "Hero" this week. The first single from his forthcoming album "Escape" makes a four spot leap to take over the #1 position from Alicia Keys' "Fallin'", which drops to #4. The last time Enrique was at #1 was in 2000 with "Be With You", a track that spent a sole week on top during the month of June. The chances are though, that "Hero" will become his greatest hit since runner-up Nelly Furtado is growing at a smaller rate and poses no immediate threat next week.
He's got it right again... This week's greatest gainer is Usher with "U Got It Bad". Apparently, he's got the skills mastered as he scores yet another top ten hit by leaping from #15 to #10. The Backstreet Boys come in second this week, as "Drowning" bests the #15 peak of "More Than That" earlier this year and inches its way closer to the top ten.
New entries... This week's highest new entry belongs to P!nk. "Can't Get This Party Started", the first single from her forthcoming sophomore album, debuts at #34. City High featuring Eve follow closely at #35 with "Caramel" and Mariah Carey lands a third top 40 hit from her Glitter soundtrack with "Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica)" at #36.
Coming Up...Janet f/ Missy Elliott & Cary Simon- "Son Of A Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You)", Marc Anthony- "Tragedy", Sugar Ray- "Answer The Phone", Lifehouse- "Breathing", Alicia Keys- "A Woman's Worth", The Cranberries- "Analyse" & Faith Evans- "You Gets No Love".
