The complete list of finalists in all categories will be available next week. Ok, so now onto this week's chart...
Next in line... This year, there have been a total of 17 tracks that have occupied the top spot on the chart (two more than last year, actually). And as the year comes to an end and year-end charts begin to be compiled, there might still be enough time for yet another #1 song. Usher's "U Got It Bad" holds on for a third week, but will most likely make way next week for either P!nk, Janet or Ja Rule. "U Got It Bad" barely held off "Get This Party Started" this week, and "Son Of A Gun" and "Always On Time" are climbing extremely fast. It'll defintely be a snap-shot finish next week, and to be honest, my bets aren't precisely on Usher to come on top.
Ja Rule does it again... "Always On Time" is once again the greatest gainer of the chart, and does so for a third week in a row. If I remember correctly, this is the first time this has ever been accomplished. Creed's "My Sacrifice" finally shows some life as it jumps nine spots to #12 in its seventh week on the chart, thus becoming this week's second greatest gainer.
New entries... There are three new entries this week. Craig David's sophomore single "7 Days" is this week's highest debut and enters at #37, while The Calling debuts at #38 with "Wherever You Will Go" and Missy Elliott returns with "Take Away" at #39.
