greetings-
in case you haven't noticed, tombstone is my favorite movie. i watch it all the time. it stars kurt russell as wyatt earp, val kilmer as doc holliday, michael biehn as johnny ringo, and powers boothe as curly bill. it starts when wyatt and his brothers move to tombstone, arizona. tombstone is controlled by a gang called the cowboys, run by curly bill. there's this other guy in the cowboys called ike clanton, who after his arrest challenges the earps to a shootout at the ok corral. he escapes, but the cowboys are angry at the earps, and end up killing morgan and wounding virgil. wyatt, doc, and two ex-cowboys go after the cowboys, and kill most of them, including curly bill. ringo is shot by doc. doc ends up dying at the end of his tuberculosis.
this is such a good movie- it's funny & exciting & sad at the end. the romance between wyatt & josephine is the only weak point- i don't like josephine & wyatt's wife is addicted to laudanum. a random point, but it's funny- she gets so insulted when wyatt suggests she ought to see a doctor. this movie is also full of great quotes- i have several of the sounds associated with various functions of my computer.
this is a lousy summary- it's such a good movie but i can't describe it
worth anything. ah, well, rent it sometime, that's my advice.
