This blog starts when Rud and MEAN decided to start with recordings in November 2005...

2 days until drum recordings will start!
Rud and The_Mean will meet today to
convert all pilot tracks for Alex...

-11.Nov.2005-
1 day left until drum recordings will start!
We prepared three songs to be (re)recorded:
OldSchoolMetal | 4ThoseWhoChose2Pose | Proditor
Alex will arrive at 10a.m CET
Will this be the beginning of a bright future?

-13.Nov.2005-
Well it s done!
Alex put the drums together and played some unbelievable great stuff
Rob will play the basslines next friday!
Who is Rob and who are Alex, Rud and the MEAN?!
This early enough will be announced :)

-17.Nov.2005-
As Rud just told me
Rob is highly motivated
and spent the last days with rehersals for the three songs!
Let´s see what happens tomorrow...

-18.Nov.2005-
Almost something for the legend growth:
Rob get stuck in the snow and arrived quite late...
but never the less - he played fantastic and gave
something special to each of the songs!

-21.Nov.2005-
This evening Rud and MEAN
will travel a few hours to meet their new
management. Since MEAN doesn´t know him at all,
this will be a first contact meeting...
Tonight things could be built or be shmashed...

-22.Nov.2005-
...what a night!
things have been discussed!
In the end we had a management, that is willing
and able to do everything for us!
At least - that s how it sounded after a few beers (cheers)...

Rud and MEAN will now finish the tracks as soon as possible
so that we can have a huge kick off in early 2006!
It seemed to be cleared that we will record a full album
until summer and which should be released in autumn.

Rud just started to record "OSM"...
When I was listening to his rythmguit-work
on the phone - it just flashed me!
He is doing some crazy and fantastic stuff!
I could never imagine what he could make out of some simple riffs...
be prepared...

-05.Dec.2005-
Rud finished the guitar basics for the 3 songs!
The MEAN started to do some vocals
which means we have a rough version of OSM now...
This week we try to finish the vocals on the rest as well
so that we can stay in the timing and master the tracks within 05!

-12.Dec.2005-
The 2nd song "4TWC2P" now got its vocals as well!
We spent a whole day in just recording a few lines of wording...
But it turns out to be great :)
Rud still is waiting on some equipment before he starts to do all the
lead guitar work...
The last vocals will be taped within this week...

-14.Dec.2005-
PRODITOR vocals are done!
Hard work!
Vocals have a huge range within this song...
Took an amount of time to go that high on the one hand
and back into deep bass voices again...
But in the end we listened to it - and were just happy!
Now it´s Rud-time: He´ll play all the soli and additional guitars
within this week
Mixing will start before christmas.
Wow - we are happy!

Mixing stage just started!

The year of the years has just started!
We just finished the backing vocals, when Ruds wife
gave birth to the 2nd son in their family!! Congratulations!!
Perfect start into the year!
The 3 songs are going to be mixed from now on!
Stay tuned - it is almost done...

Mean was quite busy the last days...
But meanwhile he was shooting some commercial stuff
Rud recorded some more addOns...
Tomorrow we will start with the mix!
This time 4 real!

Rud started with the re-amping and mixing!!
Looks like we can finish the traxx within this week!

Well it s done!!
The Songs are mixed!
Now we hand it over to our management...
Let´s see what happens...
Will there be a label soon - or was it just a waste of time?

-13.March 2006-
The 17th is confirmed as the next meeting
with our management...
We are quite nervous about what it will tell us about our recordings
But since it turned out to be very good
we are fullfilled with hope...

-24.March 2006-
Well - the stone is rolling!
We handed out the tracks to our management, who is on his way now!
We are waiting at the moment what might happen...
I think it will take about 8 weeks to have everything confirmed...

-02.June 2006-
Well - it is a crashdown!
Our favorite label said "NO"...
Ashame - we are sad!
But no time to cry - the management is on its way to the next labels
and soon we will make afm records cry, when they
recognize what they have missed - us, the true redeemers :)
by the way: afm liked the music, but the singing
was too far away from dragonslayerjodeling (what they like a lot...) in their opinion...

-05.July 2006-
Well - 2 other labels have an opinion, which does not fit our believing!
We will keep on searching untill it is done!

-02.October 2006-
Now, since the festival-time 06 is over, we start again with our search!
And - we start the recordings for a full album without company right now...
Rud and Mean decided, that this could be the way:
selling a great and already finished product!

-10. January 2007-
Happy New Year 2 all!
Well, we wont give up!
At the moment we produce the pilots for the Album.
We changed a lot in our sounds and trying hard to hire
a bassplayer and drummer, that all of you do know...
12 songs are chosen to be recorded.
We are still on our way!

-04. June 2007-
All right, the newstart is going to happen:
Due to Ruds good connections we proudly announce
a new drummer
and a new bassman!
Both are well known and Xspecialy the guy behind the drums
will be a huge surprise to alot of people!
Still he is recording in Spain another few songs with his home-band
but he'll be back in a few days
and promised to be in the studio with us for a full album-recording!
I'll give you the names of these two new guys,
when the recordings have started
and both are sitting there in reality...

Hopefully the drum recordings will start
15.July 2007!!
If this is going to happen
the project is unstoppable afterwards!


-08. October 2007-
YEAHHA!
It took a long time to manage to take this step!!
We have got a drummer!
And it it is not anybody, but one of the best known metal drummers these days!
I won't tell who it is at the moment,
since this could cause heavy rumors in the scene,
even if I know this blog is hidden very well and just a few read it
I don't dare to give you the name already...
But I can say, that the name is a real surprise
and it has been an honour to record this guy!
to record?! Yes - the drums for a full lenghth Album have been recorded!


This might be one of the last entrys to the blog
cause soon there will be an official website for our project.
But the project is not done yet!
I am sure we can confirm all names with a bang soon!

-18. December 2007-
The first 6 songs have its bass-lines as well!
Our (still secret) bass player was enthusiastic about the drumwork!
We will continue the bass sessions soon.
I forgot to tell that the bass lines are incredible groovy, fast and played with fullforce and highest attention to details!
Rud and I are really happy, since it seems to work out perfectly this time!
