Chris has recently completed directing his second feature film, "A Twist of Faith." This thriller stars Andrew McCarthy and Michael Ironside, and is produced by Prophecy Entertainment. Chris also directed "The Fear: Halloween Night," a horror film to be released this October by Apix Entertainment. Upon completing the short of Mr. October, Chris Angel graduated from USC’s MFA film directing program, whose alumni include directors such as George Lucas and Robert Zemeckis. Chris was one of four students chosen out of a field of forty to direct USC’s prestigious advanced twenty minute productions this fall. While at USC, Chris has directed a number of shorts, as well as edited other advanced productions. Chris came to USC in 1994 after graduating from Yale University with a degree in literature and philosophy (summa cum laude) where his thesis examined film’s relation to literature. While at Yale, Chris also produced two award-winning half-hour films in his native Canada, one of which was subsequently shown on the Disney Channel in the United States. Since Yale, Chris has been a consultant in interactive television and new media in New York and Germany, as well as an intern at Jodie Foster’s Egg Pictures in Los Angeles.
Fred is a recent graduate from the USC Graduate Screenwriting Program. Fred hails from the Twin Cities and is an avid baseball fan, especially his hometown Minnesota Twins. A current resident of LA, Fred is a reader for a number of Hollywood production companies, including New Line and Imagine. He's also busy working on two feature scripts that are nearing completion, including a feature version of Mr. October. Fred and Chris first met at USC because they have led remarkably parallel lives. Before USC, Fred also went to Yale University, where he studied folklore and mythology and wrote a thesis on the Arthurian legends. Fred also interned at Egg Pictures while he attended USC.
