The Cast of the new Trilogy

		Obi Wan Kenobi is to be played by Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting). And this rumor seems to be true: I received a auto-mail from the official Starwars Fan Club, which said that Lucasfilm is in discussion with Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor. Looks nearly like a confirmation; the first official confirmation. Variety magazine also said that Ewan McGregor signed in for the part.
		Kenneth Brannagh stated clearly that he will not be in the Prequels. (British movie magazine EMPIRE (March 1997)) And here is the quote of page 66: The rumors of him going to star as the young Obi-Wan in the Star Wars prequels are, however, totally rubbish."I think that was made up by a Star Wars-fan who were also a fan of me. I'd be suprised if they ever called me. I'm no Harrison Ford, you know." (End of quote)
		3 PO: On the Star Wars Convention in Germany Anthony Daniels made some suggestions that he is currently in training for playing 3PO again.
		Since Lucas spoke with Dave Prowse to play Vader, i do not believe he could. He has a permanent knee injury and can barely walk.
		Liam Neeson (Schindlers List) is up to play a Jedi master. It seems that there was an acting test with Ewan McGregor and Liam. This would be a strong argument for making this guys take the roles.Liams gage is supposed to be 4 million Dollar and 2% of the movie gross. Neeson´s character is only planned to be in Episode I and he will play a vital role in the Obi Wan - Anakin conflict.
		Kate Winslet (Hamlet) could probably play some kind of leader of a Rebel Fighting Unit.
		Natalie Portman has signed in for the role of Lady Skywalker (The Queen).
		Gregory Hines is rumored to play some kind of a Lando Calrissian rooted Character.
		Bail Organa, Leias adopted father is rumored to be played by Sir Anthony Hopkins.
		Sir Alec Guiness is up to support the new saga with "voice-over". It must be some kind of opening dialogue. Rumors make me believe that Lucas pais him 1 million $ for this bit.
		Howard Antony, a British soap opera actor (just like Mark Hamill before Star Wars) is rumored to have signed in for a part of Episode I. There are no specific character information available.
		Charlton Heston, the movie veteran, who acted in famous movies as "El Cid" or "Ben Hur" is rumored to have been asked by George Lucas if he wants to mime a Jedi Master in the third Prequel.
		The Hollywood Reporter reported Jake Lloyd (Jingle all the Way) would take the role of the young Anakin Skywalker in the first Episode of the new Trilogy.
		Claudia Ramirez, a relative unknown Latin American Actress is supposed to play Lady Kenobi. This character isn´t supposed to be Obi-Wan´s wife neither his girlfriend. It is some kind of relative to Obi Wan Kenobi, but there are no special information about the actress and the part yet.
