Love and Happy Thoughts!

Announcing!

February 26, 2008 - Hello Friends and Family!

News: Tim and I are still living with my parents, who's health and lifestyles are starting to slow down and need a little assistance from us. So, living with them isn't bad after all! We've become household helpers and financial backers, besides loving daughter and son-in-law, to help with mom's breast cancer radiation therapy and dad's 70-ish laid-back attitude. I have bad runs of health off and on too, so I love having free babysitting help around 24/7. Though Alex is getting to be a handful for all of us.

Alex is 4 years old and so much energy to handle! He loves being outside and still can't be fenced in. Winter and housitis has been a real problem, snow is fun, without doggie surprises, but melts fairly quickly before he can enjoy it.

We're working on listening to directions as well as eating more than drinking our meals... ask me about Nutrition drinks, I'm an expert now! He has an eye for copying and repeating exactly what you've said or done and oh do we have to be careful what we say and do around him, he's a "big boy" now and wants to show it. His favorite question, instead of "why?" is "what does that do (or say)?"

Also, Tim and I are still involved in the SCA, Society for Creative Anachronisms the(Indianapolis, IN) Barony of Sternfeld. Tim hasn't been as much involved since he still has to finish making all of his armor to start fighting again. Before, his work hours interferred with him attending much more than an occasional event, but he's taking courses to earn an Information Technology degree in Network Administration.

My brother Anthony has got into the fencing portion of the SCA and is hoping to paint portraits soon. My entire family went to Pennsic this year! We had a blast and will camp in two tents next time. Ask us about the rain! Our summer wedding tent decided to have a ceiling problem, so it has a nice blue tarp roof for next year. I've still got two more years of costuming to catch up on, so I have lots of projects to work on.

I stopped my Ebay store temporarily as there was little business coming through. I'm pretty sure people are only looking at the exact item they are looking for (I do that all the time) and anything cheap first. As most of my items were sitting forever, I'm pretty sure events are the way I will be able to move anything from the inventory and the basement! lol

I'm looking for a website that I can merchant from and not be absolutely expensive. There are some options I've found, just have to figure out a budget to work with and when have funding will do.

Have fun in your neck of the woods!! If you can drop a line, email is free, remember?

Love, Amy-Christine
