Lucky Spencer

From ABC

Born with the blessing and the curse of father Luke's passion, this whip-smart teen ought to be grateful that he seems to be something that his dad hasn't always been - like his name suggests, lucky!

In 1993, Lucky went on the run from mobster Frank Smith with his parents.

That same year, after tailing Luke to a meeting with a mob crony, Lucky was shot and nearly died.

Lucky adopted pug-ugly stray dog Foster in 1994.

Lucky's custody battle for Foster and Annabelle's puppy was settled when he and Edward Quartermaine agreed to give Raoul to Emily Bowen.

Gambling got Lucky in its grip in 1996.

In 1997, Lucky became lovestruck when he met teenager Sarah Webber at GH.

When your parents are Luke and Laura Spencer, adventure isn't something you seek, it's something that finds you. It's as much a part of teenage Lucky's life as video games or hormones. Maybe it's who his folks are; then again, maybe it's just him - Lucky wouldn't have it any other way.

In 1993, Lucky became embroiled in the kind of excitement that his mom and dad are famous for. When Frank Smith located the clan's hideout, The Triple L Diner, in Canada, they went on the run and wound up back in Port Charles.

There, Lucky became acquainted with his cousin, Sly Eckert, whose father, Bill, was mistaken for Luke and shot dead by a mob assassin. That same year, Lucky himself found out how dangerous his father's associates could be when he tailed Luke to a meeting with one of Frank's henchmen. In the wrong place at the wrong time, Lucky took a bullet that, thankfully, didn't take his life.

A year later, the boy brought home a stray dog. Luke thought the mutt was pug-ugly, but Lucky loved him and named him Foster. When Lila Quartermaine's pooch, Annabelle, became pregnant by Foster, Lucky exacted a promise from Lila that he could have the pick of the litter. When Annabelle gave birth to only a single puppy, Raoul, Lucky proved his Spencer mettle by going toe to toe with Edward over custody. After Emily Bowen's mother, Page, succumbed to cancer, Lucky and Edward agreed that they should give her the puppy in the hope that it might cheer her up.

In 1996, Lucky got in over his head with gambling - and with Frank Smith's son, Damian. Around every corner, it seemed, Spencer enemies lurked. Their numbers grew by two that same year, when Stefan Cassadine arrived in Port Charles with nephew - and Lucky's half-brother - Nikolas in tow.

Before long, Lucky was drawn into Timoria, the dangerous computer game that Stefan masterminded. And just as the teenager discovered girls - in particular, Audrey Hardy's granddaughter, Sarah, he discovered that he had a formidable rival in Nikolas.

Lucky resides at 24 Royal St. in Port Charles, New York.
