Beast Mode: A bulky, metal gorilla. Generally pretty cool. Massive arms and blue vacume metal chest, head, and feet. The only real problem in this mode are his short, stubby legs. Twin maces on his back are detachable and are
really cool weapons in beast as well as robot mode.

Vehicle Mode: The back of his legs fold out and turn to become a hoverboard. Pretty odd looking, but still really neat. His gun on his theigh becomes a thruster as well.

Transformation: Easy to do for a mega toy. Primal's back comes upward. Hands twist around and the backs of his legs fold out to double in length and form real feet. Torso spins around and front pulls foreward. Monkey head is pushed down and robot head is pulled up. Chest snaps back together and back folds down to become shoulders and back. There you have it.

Robot Mode: Really neat. Optimus tunrs into a massiv, organic robot. Huge arms and beefey legs and connected to his furry and huge chest. Sort of wierd looking head, but still pretty neat. Optimus Primal is an exact replica of his TV show self. His weapons include back mounted maces, a really big and cool pistol that hangs on his thiegh, and his back can come foreward to become a twin super cannon that kicks all ass.

Articulation: 15 points of articulation. hips, knees, feet, shoulders, bicepts, elbows and head.

I give this toy a 9.9 out of ten. Almost, but not quite, perfect.
