Beast mode: A meched out fire ant. Looks alot like Inferno, only Transmetalized. Okay, but has a neck that's way too skinny and his wheels from his vehicle mode are painfully appearant. Scavenger's legs are very nice, however. They don't really support his bulky body, but are very sturdy and stable. His vacume metal pieces are his ant torso and rear.
Vehicle mode: After a head lift and a few wheel movements, Scavenger becomes a... well, he becomes a sort of drilling, subterranian vehicle thingy. This mode is much neater than his beast mode though, and rolls on his whells. As Scavenger moves forewards, twin drills on the front spin making a cool looking vehicle.
Transformation: From Vehicle mode, Scavengers back comes off and up, his robot legs extend and his wheels flip back. His beast head and torso splits apart to make his robot arms, and his robot head folds up.
Robot Mode: This is hands down Scavenger's best mode. His color
sheme is truly awsome and his molding is very nicely done. The only problem
here, is that Scavenger's beast legs get in the way, hanging off
his arms much like Blackarachnia or the old Tarantulas. He doesnt have
any hands, but makes up for that with manacing drills. Scavenger's face
looks evil and cunning, but
not maniacle. He doesn't look that organic, but enough to qualify.
Scavenger is a little top heavy and can't stan too well, but he more than
makes up for this with his general coolness. This is the first (I think)
Transmetal to have clear plastic pieces, which I don't much like, but Scavenger
pulls it off okay.
Articulation: All together Scavenger has 15 points. They are his head, shoulders, biceps, elbows (2), hips, knees, and feet.
Rating: Overall, because of the few flaws and clear plastic, I give Scavenger an 8. He is a very well rounded figure, but I'm not sure if he's worth 15 dollars. Go ahead and get him if you get the chance.
