Vehicle mode: Nice design and not so hot coloration, all the robot bits hang from underneath as with all the new small Decepticons. Colored strange shade of sky blue with painted withe accent marks on tips of his wings. Only two stickers , one on each wing. No faction symbols. Three retractable langing gears on the underside , no wheels on them however. Arms and legs are visible on the the underside of the plane exposing the milky white parts and joints. This mode could have been better as could have the colors.
Transformation: This is an autotransforming toy. Just push down on the nose and it springs into robot form. All you have to do is position the arms and legs and remove the two weapon halves from the legs and assemble the gun.
Robot mode: The bad plane mode is made up for by a great super excellent robot form. Very poseable with lots of ball joints , even the head has plenty of poseability. Primarily colored that wierd blue and milky white in this form , the white marks are on the back now. Can hold his weapon with two hands , a neat effect that most toys don't have. Due to his slightly bad coloration , Megatron doesn't look as impressive as his clone Megaplex , a pity since he is the leader , he should have been better. They should have at least chose a mold that could stand a chance in a fight with the new Machine Wras Optimus Prime who is alot bigger.
Weapons: The two weapon halves in his legs form the gun. It looks dinky without the barrel extension , but really looks menacing with the barrel attached , one big freakin' gun.
Other notes: If you are imaginative enough you can make a gerwalk tranformation out of this mold similar to the original Jetfire.
Overall: Good mold is overshadowed by the fact that this is a pretty whimpy Megatron. However still worth the 5 bucks it cost. (I customized mine with some left over stickers and made a little fusion cannon for him , as soon as I can , I'll put a picture up here.)
On a scale of one to ten this toy recieves a 7.
