Vehicle mode: Very nice and very realistic looking indy car. Tons of small little stickers but no faction symbols. Has his name on a sticker on the spoiler. Large wheels made out of sturdy plastic. About the size of an original Autobot car , slightly smaller than the original Mirage. Vehicle mode is not to scale with Hoist/Hubacp mold. Primarily colored pearl white and black. Painted black down the center. Number "8" sticker on front end , lots of little details everywhere. Best vehicle mode in the whole line since this is the same mold as Mirage , whom I think it was designed for.
Transformation: This is an autotransforming toy , just pull up on the spioler and Prowl springs into his robot mode , all you have to do is position the arms and legs and remove the two weapon halves from either leg and assemble the weapon.
Robot mode: Looks very cool in robot mode , lot's of detail and stickers still visible in this mode. Looks nothing like the original Prowl , but the colration is the same. The colors on this toy are rather well done , I like the black and pearl pattern. Arms hae limited poseability because of his huge two front wheels getting in the way. Other than that , he has plenty of moveable pieces and ball joints. Face is colored pea green for some reason and looks kinda weird but not too bad. It's not Prowl but that doesn't mean that that's bad , this is still one of the best molds in the line.
Weapons: The two weapon halves stored in his legs assenble to become the rifle. If you don't attatch the barrel , it looks like a cool double barreled shotgun , with the barrel , a sleek futuristic rifle.
Other notes: Very stable in both modes , and in car mode their are no robot bits visible even on the underside! Everything closes up and fits together nicely. Gun barrel is a little hard to remove from leg.
Overall: Very nice looking toy , even if it isn't the Prowl we all know and love. This mold is excellent in both modes.
