Vehicle mode : Nice looking missle laucher. Good colors and camo pattern. The rocket is removeable and so is the communications dish. It isn't that all-terrain , as the toy only has little tiny wheels under the fake treads. The missle can be lowered up and down.
Transformation : As simple as one , two , three. A baby could figure this one out.
Robot mode : I love the way this guy looks in robot mode. He vaguely resembles the original Soundwave. Absolutely no poseability other than the arms at the soulder joints. This detracts alot from the toy. He still looks cool , but can't move at all. Too bad. Also he has no hand held gun. Has the glowing eyes gimmick.
Weapons : All of Stalker's original weapons are gone , except for the the rocket. He originally came with a hand held missle lauchers and alot of missles which hooked on to pegs on the side of the tank mode. Also , the rocket used to be a slide projector , but that feature is absent from Soundwave. You can still look into the rocket , but all that can be seen is a blue blurr.
Other notes : Several of the stickers have no instructions on where to put them , including two Generation 1 Decepticon logos. My suggestion is to put one on the chest of the robot mode , and use the other on one of the small Machine Wars which are stickerless.
Overall : Not a bad toy , but it could have been better. Lack of posability and no gun bring down appeal. Average.
