Reviews of Sideswipe

REVIEW SUBMITTED BY unicron69@hotmail.com

Appearence: Sideswipe's vehicle mode is a bright red Lambrogini Countache sports car. It is a bit plane looking but still visually
pleasing because of it's superior design. This could pass as a model car. There are no features of one mode that cause flaw in the other. His robot mode looks pretty good, with crome forearms, black and white legs, and chrome toes with cool stickers all over.

Transformation: This transformation is extremely simple. Pull down the back end to form the legs, pull it apart to separate them. Pull out the doors at the wheels to expose the arms. Pull down the hood to make the chest plate, and the head follows but needs adjusting. There you have it.

Posability: Not bad, not great, but it would be hard to improve it because of the toy's design. The shoulders have full circular rotation. The elbows can also bend sufficiently. The toes can be moved to make it look as if he's walking (sort of), but the rest of the lower body cannot be moved. The head can rotate back and forward but not from side to side.

Accessories/Features: Sideswipe comes with a white laser rifle, and a black/chrome shoulder-mounted missile launcher with three white missiles.

A good toy, one of the best original cars. Relatively posable and durable. I give it a very specific 7.5.
