Two European actors join Ronin

(LOS ANGELES) - Stellan Skarsgard, who starred in October Films' art house smash "Breaking the Waves," and Jean Reno, best known to U.S. audiences for "La Femme Nikita" and "French Kiss," will join Robert De Niro in United Artists' big-budget action adventure "Ronin." The two veteran European actors have agreed in principle to star in the John Frankenheimer film, sources confirmed. The picture, which has a 72-day shoot schedule, is slated to roll Nov. 3 in France.The major order of business ahead for Frankenheimer and producer Frank Mancuso Jr. is finding a female lead to play opposite De Niro.
