Sometimes, there's more to the episode capsule besides a transcript of the show. There are several other sections, and I'm always looking for people to help with those, too. Here's a breakdown of the sections of a capsule.
Did you notice...
This section is a list of things you've noticed on the show. The best ones are things that others may not have noticed, like people reacting a certain way in the background while a game is going on. They should all start with an ellipsis (...), and complete the sentence "Did you notice...", which means they should end with a question mark.
References
Sometimes the performers will make some pretty obscure references. If you know what a performer was talking about, simply list the thing being referenced and a very brief description of what specifically was referenced. The more obscure, the better. Though try to make them references that aren't just "they might have been talking about this, or it could be a coincidence."
Déjà vu
If a performer does something unusual that they've done before, or if a scene or suggestion has been used for the same game at a different taping, list what it was. Please try to include the episode number of where the thing happened previously.
Behind the scenes
The most interesting part to read. If you've been to a taping and can provide some information about something that happened that the folks at home didn't get to see, let us know.
Miscellaneous
This is the place for anything that doesn't quite fit the other sections, including extended explanations of references.
Episode transcript
It's not as easy as it might seem. If you have a lot of free time, you could write a verbatim transcript of an episode of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" However, there are some things you need to know first. Start by finding the episode you want to transcribe, then make sure you read the warnings at the top of the season page.
If you're submitting something for any section, remember to include your name (or screen name) so I can properly credit you for anything you contribute. And here is my e-mail address, since you'll need to send it to me. Thanks for your help!
