(sung by Captain America with the chorus of Americans)

Sung by: Captain America
Don't worry Stranger
I'm here to help
Injected with Super-Serum
Feeling like no one's ever felt

Don't cry, Children
I'm here to serve
Red, white and blue soldier
Gonna take away the Nazi's nerve

Sung by: The Chorus of Americans
So what do we call you?
We need to know your name
We need a champion
And you seem pretty game

Sung by: Captain America
My name is Captain America!
My name is Captain America!
My name is Captain America!
And I'm here to fight for the free
And I'm here to fight for the free

Sung by: The Army General
Your mission, Son
Is top priority!
Gotta take down the Red Skull
He's the General of the Nazis!

Sung by: Captain America
Don't worry, Sir
I'm the man for the job!
Captain America
Will wipe the floor with that Nazi slob!

My name is Captain America!
My name is Captain America!
My name is Captain America!
And I'm here to fight for the free
And I'm here to fight for the free

Note: In the original 2002 version, the lyrics end after the 1st block of "My name is Captain America"'s. Later in 2003 or so, I added a 2nd verse but that was lost in a computer crash. So in roughly June or July or maybe August 2007, I don't remember, I added a new 2nd verse that fits in more with the finished storyline.

This song was written on November 11, 2002. It was the second Captain America song written. I recorded a demo of it around that time featuring acoustic guitar, vocals and lead guitar over the end chords. Still to this day, I love that little solo so much. I don't know how I did it way back when I really didn't know how to play.
