There's something about Michael Guerin that's always left unsaid. Canadian native Brendan Fehr plays the outsider to the alien trio.

Michael's mission has lead him to almost be killed after participating in a sacred Indian ritual (The Balance), presuming River Dog is his real father, and abducting fellow Roswellian Maria Deluca.
Maria Deluca (played by Majandra Delfino) challenges Michael's black and white view of the world. The cracks to his stonewall exterior become evident when he's around Maria. Nevertheless, this doesn't stop Michael from giving into human urges and then avoiding her the next day. Michael and Maria's confusing and even comedic relationship is something for viewers to look forward to in future episodes.
Whoever owns these cool characters should be so lucky.
