This Article is in the Entertainment section of the MingPao newspaper (Feb 7,1998). It said that Kitty was filming a Malaysia TV series in Canada for the past few months. The article did not mention the name of the TV series though. She stared this series around September of last year. Right now she is back in HongKong for New Year vacation. Later, she will return to Malaysia to finish the shooting. Kitty said that she really enjoyed the trip to Canada but, she really missed her family, friends and of course Hongkong. Kitty knows most of news in Hong Kong, because she has a lot of friends. They write to her and tell her about Hongkong's news. Kitty said that she would love to shop and visit around the Canada. Unfortunately she doesn't have time because, her character was very important. She needed time to be prepare for it.
The reporter asked her about the money for her contract since the currency for Malaysia had dropped tremendously in the value. Kitty relied that she signed her contract for this TV series a while ago. It paid her with HongKong money, so she won't lose anything in return. Does she want to come back to Hong Kong to extend her acting career? Kitty said that although she wanted to, she decidied to take a break from acting. Until she find the tv series that inspires her. Kitty said that she might come back to the entertainment field whenever she gets the chance.
