Leila_kenzle: Hello...good evening...hello!
Louiswu13: Did your agent find the Mad about you audition or a friend or
did you just stumble on it?
Leila_kenzle: I had auditioned for Danny Jacobsen,
one of the creators, and he remembered me from a "Good Advice" audition and
asked me to come back and read for them ("Mad About You"). So why am I still
paying them a 10% commission?
Rowdyk: How did you get discovered
Leila_kenzle: First I want to calm down...and
secondly...I don't know if there is a way to be "discovered". But I was doing a
play called "Tony and Tina's Wedding" which came to LA. I played the stripper,
so a lot of people saw a lot of me and I started to get some interest from agents and
producers, so if I was discovered...that was it!
Mdabtucrzy: I have seen all the episodes. "The Birth" was my
favorite episode. What's yours?
Leila_kenzle: Yeah! My favorite episode was
"15 minutes of Real Time" it was when Paul brought home a camera for a
documentary and lied and didn't tell Jamie, so she didn't know about it. The thing that
was most fun about it was that we shot it in real time. So we did the first act in 1 full
take and the 2nd act in 1 full take. And it was FUN!!!! It was written by my friend Jeff
Burditt.
Tiga-pawz: hello...i was just curious to what goes through your
mind...when you watch the final product of a shows taping.....after seeing all of the work
come together so smoothly....what thoughts you have...watching it click so smoothly ?
Leila_kenzle: Hi..."why did they cut me
out?" :-)
Tvvip: Do you have any friends in real life like the Buchmans? Howard at
NYU
Leila_kenzle: NO...do you know anybody who does?
Leila_Fan_1: Leila, if you could take some relatives from out of town, on
a tour of L.A., where would you take them? I need some ideas as my parents are visiting in
2 weeks. Thanks in advance for your response!
Leila_kenzle: My favorite fan, funny you should
ask...my mom is visiting me. So I feel like a pro when I'm answering this question. Get
one of those books that tell you where all the famous people died, ie., Bugsy Siegel's
house on Linden Dr. There's a whole day for you there! There's always Disneyland,
Universal Studios and the new movies at El Capitan, the Cinerama Dome and Mann's
Chinese....and then you don't have to talk to them !
Papillon27: Hi Leila! Will you be doing any movies in the near future?
Leila_kenzle: Well, I'll be producing a movie
called "Six Idiots in Love" with my husband, Neil Monaco. I won't admit that I'm
one of the idiots...but I'll tell you my husband was. :-)
Mia_wallace_: What's it like to work with Helen and Paul?
Leila_kenzle: Let's see...Helen is great to have
those heart-to-heart talks with and Paul is just what you think he's like...only dirtier.

Perpie: Is Murry a good dog in real life?????
Leila_kenzle: Yes, but Murray is also a dumb,
scared dog. So they actually married the character to the actual dog.
Sexi_shan: I enjoyed seeing you on "talk soup" a while back.
What was it like to host and do you plan on doing it again?
Leila_kenzle: Little miss sexi...yes! I'm actually
hosting in 2 weeks for the weekend review and I have so much fun doing it...because
mostly, I'm the only one who talks.
Ntamayo: Do you pronounce your name Lei-la, or Lee-lah? Because I say
it's pronounced Lei-lah.
Leila_kenzle: You win a million dollars!
Snazer25: Do you have any funny moments that have happened "behind
the scenes"?
Leila_kenzle: Oh gosh, we have so many funny
moments that happen behind the scenes that it's hard to pick just one. But whenever
Richard Kind, who plays my husband, is on the set, Paul doesn't seem to able to get
through a scene without laughing.
Beek2: last season their was a move away from the regular characters, and
more "special guests" will it be the same this season?
Leila_kenzle: You know, it's hard to tell because
of the baby and we have a different Executive Producer, so I wish I had a clear answer for
you but I don't. It could go either way.
Billf42: any romance for fran this season?
Leila_kenzle: Bill, (Bill is my dog's name!) I'm
hoping to talk Mel Gibson into coming on the show, but it looks like I'm back with my
husband...so, no.
Fieldy_snutz: do you listen to howard stern?
Leila_kenzle: I LOVE Howard Stern...I don't listen
to him every morning. I try to listen as often as I can. I definitely drive to work with
him.
Breeze-maker: when life gets you down, what do you do to get up?
Leila_kenzle: Heavy medication. :-) And after
that, kiss my husband really hard and take my dog for a walk.
MarkP2: Will we ever see Richard Kind next season. Or is he on that other
network for good and we'll only hear him on your cellular phone?
Leila_kenzle: I think we'll only hear him on the
cellular phone because he's on that other network for good, but I'm really sad about it.
Liz_h: Do people get all over you when you are out eating or walking
Leila_kenzle: No, people do definitely ask if I've
gone to high school with them or tell me that they love the show, but it's always nice.
It's only the ones I owe money to that I try to avoid!
Unclerobb: What does the cast do during "down" time, if there
is such a thing?
Leila_kenzle: Well during HIATUS, which is during
the summer, everyone likes to do off and do their own thing. I know Helen likes to go off
to Hawaii, Paul writes another multi-million dollar book and I'm always kissing my husband
and walking my dog.
NBCLive: Speaking of Hawaii...
Nat35: how many more seasons do you think "mad about you" will
have? And, will you be filming in Hawaii next season???!
Leila_kenzle: You have a very good sense of humor.
Right now we all have contracts for just this year, so if everyone watches and the ratings
are good, there might be another one (season). And who knows, it's TV. My character would
like a new pair of shoes and can't get them, so I doubt we'll get to Hawaii.
Jumper876: LEILA: NEXT SEASON ARE YOU GOING TO BE PREGNANT ON THE SHOW
LIKE JAMIE WAS?
Leila_kenzle: Oooh...I think that would be a
really fun story line, but I have no say in what goes on. So keep your fingers crossed.
Chic214: Are you anything at all like your character in real life???? :-)
Leila_kenzle: Oh gosh...I'm sure I'm a lot like
her, but I don't want to admit it. :-) I'll say that we're both really good friends, but
I'm way prettier. :-)
The_sufa: hello , I am 14 years old ,i am from israel , and i wanted to
ask how is it working on the set of "MAD ABOUT YOU" , is it fun ? does it take a
lot of time filming one episode? please forgive me if i typing wrong .
Leila_kenzle: Well I'm 21...(LOL). It is really
fun working on the set of "Mad About You"! And I wouldn't lie to you. What's the
weather like in Israel? And what time is it down there? Should you be on the Internet at
this time? :-)
Bloopier_27: Are you ever going to do another guest appearance on
Friends? What was that experience like?
Leila_kenzle: Well, let's just say that it's one
of the coolest shows on TV. And I will say myself to raise my own cool quotient, so as I
see it, only "Seinfeld" is next.
Rutherfordnj: I went to school with you in junior and senior high, Lou A
NBCLive: The internet connnection.....
Leila_kenzle: Lou who? Well hello, Lou. Don't say
anything that I won't hate you for.
Kmhammon: Leila, As a former Rutgers student (Rutgers College), I was
wondering how your college experience was and what difference it has made in your life.

Leila_kenzle: I'm still alive illiterate but alive
(LOL). But I wouldn't trade those years for anything!
Fieldy_snutz: do you believe in a conspiricy coverup of aliens
crashlanding in roswell nm?
NBCLive: Moving towards sci-fi, we just presented Leila with a question
about Roswell, NM
Leila_kenzle: I'm unauthorized to give that
information out. I've been warned by the FBI once too often.
Agent_001__: Will this REALLY be Helen's last season??
Leila_kenzle: Agent 001, when will you graduate to
002? I have no idea.
Norma_jean_: Do you ever online chat incognito?
Leila_kenzle: No, I don't know how to use the
computer! But if I did, my code name would be "Marilyn." :-)
Hunkyhunk: How do you feel about your time slot?
Leila_kenzle: It's hunky-dory.
Lord_eirinn: Speaking socially...do you and fellow cast members interact
with other sitcom cast? (i.e. Third Rock...)
Leila_kenzle: No, they all smell! (just kidding)

D-tackle: Murry doesn't get paid money does he?
Leila_kenzle: You betcha...probably more than any
of us ever make! (LOL)
Les_paul_15: Have you been asked to host SNL yet because they definately
should have you on!
Leila_kenzle: I love them dearly! I would love to,
but they have never asked (boo-hoo, boo-hoo).
Crystalmarina: do you have any advice for a girl entering her freshman
year in high school? what can i do not to be pushed around? :)
Leila_kenzle: I have a good idea. Before you go to
school, think to yourself "what's important to you." Your morals,
priniciples...just jot them down. And if you come across a dilemna, just look at your list
and think about it. If that doesn't work, just call me and I'll beat em up for ya. ;-)

Nightowl24: when you were growing up what were your favorite tv shows?
Leila_kenzle: Nightowl, get some sleep. I loved
the "Soupy Sales" show. And I loved all the other classics..."The Brady
Bunch," "Here Comes the Bride" (Bobby Sherman ruled!), "The Mary Tyler
Moore Show."
NBCLive: Had to ask you that, Leila. I've read that you watched TV often
when you were younger. Great show pics!
Jill29: What is the most important aspect of your life at this point?
Leila_kenzle: Thank you! MY MARRIAGE.
Roi_de_soleil: Since your husband on "Mad About You" is also on
"Spin City" do you ever plan to make a guest appearance? Thanks Roi
Leila_kenzle: No, because he's a totally different
person (character). What shows are you watching? :-)

Leila_kenzle: Dear, Mr. Reptile, I work with him,
so I see him.

Leila_kenzle: Pretend that the girl you want to
talk to is more shy than you, so you're trying to help her out.
Hunkyhunk: Were you as cool in the '80's as you are now?
Leila_kenzle: Dear Hunkyhunk, when did you think I
would ever be un-cool? Love, Hunk-a-delicious.
Okea: Hi Leila! My Hawaiian name is Okea and I've been living in Hawai'i
all my life and can't wait to get off this island! Do you dream of moving to Hawai'i one
