Here I go again, making "history" with my awards.  For the first time in the long (three year) history of the "Mikey" Awards, I have a tie for one the winner of one of my awards.  Normally I can always say which of two movies I like better... but the more I thought about it, the more I couldn't put either American Pie or South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut above the other.  They are both very funny in different ways, but I have to warn you all; neither of these movies are for the faint of heart.  American Pie is filled with sexual references (the whole movie is about sex), and South Park is filled (and I mean to the brim) with swear words, they even made up some new and creative combinations of swear words.  Needless to say, these are not movies for children.

Like last year (when There's Something About Mary won the "Mikey" for Best Comedy) I am supporting the sick and twisted movies.  I guess I just have a sick mind that loves humor that is in bad taste, but move of these movies made me laugh until I cried, and if you have a soul (I am just joking about this) it will do the same to you.  Just make sure your little siblings or children or cousins or whoever that has impressionable young minds doesn't go anywhere near these hilarious films.

Congratulations to American Pie and South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, the Winners of the 2000 "Mikey" Award for Best Comedy
