The book was commissioned by the Transylvania Club of Sandersville, GA, to provide a historic account of Was ington County, GA. My great aunt Maitland Rawlings was a past president of the club, hence I know this story. The history book is quite interesting and no longer in print, a difficult find! |

How many times have you seen her and referred to her as "Scarlett" even though the movie wasn't GWTW? I saw the movie before I ever read the book. That gave me an idea of what to picture the characters s. I was even shocked to find out Scarlett had more than one child. I liked that in the movie she only had Rhett's child. But either way, book or movie, I still love GWTW! |
