Neil Prescott

Mr. Prescott is Sidney's father. All we really know about him is that he is very over protective of his daughter, but wouldn't you be if your wife was murdered? He must not be that over protective though, since he leaves town for the weekend and leaves Sidney alone.

Strangely enough, it is the one year anniversary of his wife's death, and now there are a bunch of new murders in Woodsboro, and he's conveniently out of town. Except that he's not checked into the hotel where he said he would be. In fact, no one can find him anywhere. Not even the police.

Is Sidney's father the killer? Is he getting revenge on the town for the death of his wife and all the rumors about her being a tramp? Or will his body end up popping up in the last reel somewhere?
