She arrives at Windsor College the morning after the two college students are killed, once again, ready to stomp on anyone who gets in the way of her story. And she figures while she's there she can get an interview with Sidney and Cotton Weary, who was released from prison and also attends the college. Yes, Gale is just as mean as ever. Atleast until Dewey shows up. Apparently, their romance didn't get very far, and when Dewey read her book, and read about his "dimwittedness", he became furious with Gale. But oddly enough, Gale acts as though she still really likes him.
Gale has to manage to get the story, keep her camera man, Joel, on the job (he's kinda paranoid about working with Gale after what happened to Kenny), win Dewey back over, get Sidney to do an interview with Cotton, catch a killer, and try to stay alive herself. And to make it worse, there's some small town reporter, Debbie Salt, who idolizes her, and who is trying to snake the story out from under her.
Is it possible that Gale wants the story so bad that she'd be willing to re-create Woodsboro just to get some headlines? We all know how bloodthirsty Gale is when it comes to getting a story. Or will she stick her nose in too deep and end up being on the other side of the headlines?
