Ghostface

Who is Ghostface???? And why is he (or she) killing all the teens in Woodsboro? Whoever it is seems to know what their doing. He/she uses a cell phone to call the victims before striking. He/she knows a lot about horror movies, and usually asks the victims a few trivia questions (the most popular being "What's your favorite scary movie?"). The person would also have to be pretty strong to be able to tie up Steve, and then hang Casey from a tree. Plus, we see Ghostface get kicked, punched, slamed with a phone, and beer bottles numerous times through the movie, and never really get seriously hurt (it's a killer thing - they're all invincible until the end). And why is the killer so dead set on killing Sidney Prescott? Is it because she survived the fist attack, or was she Ghostface's main target to begin with?
