Sidney Prescott

Sidney Prescott returns in Scream 2, this time a college student at Windsor College. It has been 2 years since the Woodsboro murders, and Sidney has a bunch of new friends and a new boyfriend, Derek. She has the lead part in the school play, she's doing well in her classes, and with the exception of the occasional prank call (she now has caller ID), everything in Sid's life is finally starting to look up.

Sid knows she will never forget what happened in Woodsboro, but she's still trying to leave it in the past. Atleast until opening night of the movie STAB, which was based on the murders in her home town. Two students at her college are murdered on the opening night, and Sid has yet another case of Deja-Vu.

At first, everyone thinks it's not related to Woodsboro. Even Randy, who also attends school with Sidney, is in total denial that they may be in danger. But then Gale Weathers shows up in town to investigate, and shortly after, Dewey arrives to check up on Sid. It would be nice if it was just a one time incident, but deep down, all the survivors know that it's starting over again.

Will Sidney survive a second time? Can she out-smart Ghostface again? And who can she trust?
