I was just gonna put this back there on the Disecting Mary page, but I got all carried away. So here it is..da newsies :)
Jack "cowboy" Kelly and "Newsies". One of my favorite movies in the world, yes, it's a musical. But ya know what? It's full of cute dancing boys so I'm down for it :) Me and my sister Bethany know it by heart. The songs, lines, noises, the way he runs..*sigh*..he just..FLOATS..(that's for Bethany)..the way he says "nuttin" and "whasa matta wishu" and "you're to kind to me Race, you're to KIND" his cute little smile, the way he does that..thing..with his tongue when he smiles...his adorable laugh, the way his jaw moves when he kisses that dumb girl (we hate Sarah, she's not worthy)....I better stop.. *note to self, watch Newsies when you're done here* Oh geez...I'm on a roll now. Here we go..I'm gonna name all our favorite Newsies and our favorite thing they said..
Davey"the walking mouth" "but he has brains too" :) We love the way he laughs and his curly wittle hair. :)
Race *L*..I'm laughing just thinking about him and all the funny stuff he says...here's our favorite..*clears throat*..(and you have to imagine a strong Italian/New York accent)..."..dear me..what is that unpleasant aroma..I fear the sewer may have backed up during the night.."....and there's always...."..remember that hot tip I told ya about?...nobody told the horse.."...little cutie :)
Crutchy "...HEEY..that's Jack!..he looks just like his-self!!"...."..hey Jack..when I walk, does it look like I'm fakin' it?.." We laughed as he tore up the newspapers, we cried when the Delancy's beat him up, and we cheered when he through the door closed on the evil Warden Snyder.."..hey warden..here's a tip while you're locked up..make friends with the rats..share what you got in common!.." :)
Mushoooooo..Mush..*melt*..did you see the pecks on this guy???..you should see him in Mighty Ducks III !! ohmygod...anyways..those pouty lips jus get us eh Bessy? :) one of our favorite Mush lines..hmmm..that's a toughy cuz he doesn't say much..(who really cares tho??..did I mention his pecks??)...but he does sing..."..met this goil last night.." (translation.."met this girl last night")..*L*...and then later..."I gotta find that goil"...right here Mush!! :)
Les our favorite Les part?...when he's in bed..singing.."..cochie coo with me..."...and the loyal, confident way he sang at the end..."...when the cirrculation bell starts ringin' will we hear it?..."..and then..of course..the part that made us all burst into tears....sitting on Jacks shoulders..hands in the air, he shouts.."WE BEAT 'EM!!!!!"...
